Happy 8 years! I love that you celebrate your dating anniversary. You've both been through so much, and I love that you're choosing to celebrate a time that showed your strength as well as the depths of your love for each other. Here's to a lifetime more! 🥰🥂
I don't know what your MOS is, but I hope it's not aviation-related. 1:46 "F-15 Screaming eagle".....wrong, it's a 2-seat F-15E Strike Eagle (out of Seymour Johnson AFB "SJ tail code") 2:35 "Prowler".....wrong, it's a 2-seat EA-6A Electric Intruder (only the 4-seat EA-6B was called the Prowler) 2:39 "F-18 Super Hornet".....wrong, it's a 2-seat F/A-18D Hornet (the Marines only flew the F/A-18C & D 'little' Hornets- the Navy flies the larger F/A-18E & F Super Hornets) 3:15 "Scarrier".....cute but wrong, it's an AV-8B Harrier II (the AV-8A was the Harrier) 3:18 "Citation".....almost, it is the military version of the Cessna Citation Encore & Ultra - known as the UC-35C & D 3:39 "Huey".....wrong, it's a UH-1Y Venom (also known as Super Huey, but the USMC calls it Venom) 3:42 "Cobra".....wrong, it's a AH-1Z Viper (the earlier AH-1J and 1T were SeaCobra and the AH-1W was the SuperCobra)
We booked it though a company called ‘Berry Naha’- we did book online but almost didn’t get to go because we were supposed to be sent an email a few days prior to the tour to confirm our reservation and pay for it, but we never received it! Luckily, they were still able to get us in!
We as a Nation say thank you for stepping on those yellow footprints and defending our nation and way of life. We owe you a debt that we can never repay you. Semper Fidelis
Thank you so much! I love spending time with them, we are making it a yearly tradition to take a girls trip together 💗 My sister is so talented, isn’t she!?
Your campsite on Lake Superior was so pretty! I loved that! Marquette is such a stunningly beautiful place. Isn't the Mackinac Bridge cool? We love Torch Lake! We will be in Traverse City next month. Traverse City isn't my favorite, but my husband has a conference for work there. We love going to Elk Rapids and Charlevoix while we're there. Charlevoix is our family's favorite place in Michigan. I didn't even know Indiana had sand dunes. Sleeping Bear Dunes in Michigan is beautiful too. I'm so glad you guys had a great trip and made the most of it, even if it was rainy!
You were in my state!!! I love living in Michigan. I live on the east side of the state, but I have to say I think the west side is a lot prettier. The beaches are definitely better over there. I hope you guys had the best time! Looking forward to the videos you have coming up!
i’m sneaking in here at the last minute i’ve watched your videos nearly since the beginning because of our friendship. i’m so proud of how much you’ve grown and become such a beautiful energy in the years i’ve known you. i love watching along and seeing all of your adventures. much love for you🤍
Congratulations on five years! I found your channel when I was desperately trying to find house tours on Cherry Point, NC. You were the only relatable and helpful one and I’ve stuck around ever since 💜
Awh! This is so awesome to hear! I'm really happy the house tour video helped people who were moving there! I have met so many friends who said they saw my video before coming! Thank you for sticking around! Picking the giveaway winner shortly! good luck <3
I haven’t been around for 5 years but I’ve gone back and watched them all. I feel like you guys are genuine and I love it! The video that made me find you guys was your Long distance military QA video. I’m also a marine girlfriend and was searching RU-vid during boot camp and found you. The homecoming videos made me so happy for you guys! Love your channel ☺️
Thank you so much for this, Amanda! Oh man... going back and watching all of them?? You are a real one for that! Thank you so much for being here, I am very happy that sharing my military experience has helped other wives + girlfriends. Picking the giveaway winner soon! good luck <3
Congratulations on 5 years!! 🥳 The first video I saw of yours was the Atlantic Beach travel diary. My husband (boyfriend at the time) was stationed at Cherry Point and we were still long distance at the time, so I found so much comfort watching videos filmed in the area! Fun fact, Oceanana Pier is where we were when we realized that we loved each other and so we had our wedding on the beach right next to the pier 🥺🥰❤️
Awh, Maggie! Thank you so much for sharing this! It has been so awesome connecting with you. That is such a cute story omg! My heart! Stay tuned for the giveaway winner announcement! + good luck!
First of all, Congratulations! I absolutely love your videos and look forwards to them! My favorite videos would the ones where you make care packages for Al while he was away on deployment and your From the Pages series!
Thank you so much for this, Caroline! I definitely miss making those packages! As much as I'm happy we aren't long distance anymore, they were super fun. Also, I really didn't know anyone truly enjoyed my From the Pages! They were fun for me! Maybe I should put out some more, the journal entries certainly haven't stopped! Stay tuned for the giveaway winner announcement + good luck!
Sometimes we will re watch them and it's such a special moment to relive that! Thank you for being a supporter from day 1, Cailey! <3 Stay tuned for the giveaway winner announcement + good luck!
Omg this video was adorable 🤣 your videos are very comforting to watch! So even if you're like "oh, I hope my editing skills got better!" 1. They objectively did get better but 2. Even your first vlog was so sweet and genuine and enjoyable. No lie, I think the first video I saw of yours was the Binder Oaks house tour. I was nostalgic and missing my house in Binder Oaks, and your video hit the spot. I think I said it before, but after that, I just got hooked by your and Al's energy in your vlogs. Keep it up. You're freakin awesome. 💕 P.S. I'm a millennial, and wtf is a millennial pause...? I've literally never heard of it.😐
You are the sweetest ever! Seriously, thank you for all of the support! Your comments always make me smile. I'm so happy we did that Binder Oaks house tour because it has allowed me to connect to so many other people and families who have lived our same life at Cherry Point. Such a large part of my heart is still there. hahah!! The millennial pause is something I saw on tiktok! Apparently, "millennials" wait to see that the camera is recording and then start talking and it creates an awkward pause at the start of videos?? It's so funny to me! Stay tuned for the giveaway winner announcement + good luck!
@BAlyoutube 🥰🫶🥰🫶 My heart is still there, and it's been like 7 years! I'm going on a family vacation to Atlantic beach soon! 🤗 Omgggg I've literally never heard of that, but I can totally see it! 🤣 I'm 100% guilty of that when I make videos, but I try to edit them out now lmao Ahhh, I'll be on the lookout! Thank you, love! 🫶
I have missed you two as well. As they say I will always have a place in my heart for you two. You are so natural and you enjoy life to the max. My goodness your family is expanding now all you need is some some crooks. Chook s
Hi Brooke and Al! Congrats on 5 years! I have been a subscriber for almost 4 years now. I found you through your 20 Things to Know about Being a Military Wife video. My now husband was in the Marines stationed in North Carolina at the time and we did long distance for his entire 4 years in the military and got married shortly after he got out. Your videos helped me so much along the way to feel like I was not alone in what I was going through. Thank you for 5 years' worth of videos and please keep posting. You are so talented :)
Thank you so very much for the support over those last 4 years that you've been following! It is so heart-warming to me that my videos can help others going through similar situations because that has truly always been my goal. I used to watch videos when Al first left for boot camp and they really helped me, so I was incredibly inspired to provide that to others. Thank you for the sweet comment. <3 Stay tuned for the giveaway winner announcement + good luck!
I don't always comment, but I do always watch. Ok, that made me sound like a total creeper, but you know what I mean. I honestly cannot even remember how I found your channel, but it has been so fun to watch over the years. From you sending care packages to Al when he was deployed, watching different makeup and clothing content you've done, seeing your wedding, seeing you guys move to different places and then get your first house...it's been a fun ride. Even though I don't know you, I've been excited for you each step of the way. I don't care about views on my videos either. I just love having a channel and meeting new people, and having the videos to look back at for memories as well. I honestly never watch shorts on YT, and I never do them either. I just love long form content. It's so much more personal to me, and that's what I enjoy. I do understand the issue of time though, for sure. Yes, definitely never do anything that isn't truly you and that you truly enjoy. I completely understand where you are coming from, and look forward to the videos you do decide to share!
Love how candid you are! I just notice that with each video, your authenticity shines more and more. It's beautiful! I think making videos is such a fun creative outlet. I'm like you, I like making them for me. I don't even have RU-vid anymore, but when I did, it was for ME. Now, on IG, I'm trying to post more creative stuff just because I feel like it. It's an outlet! I'm so happy you're sticking around! I genuinely love your videos. Just keep doing what you love and only good things will come to you! Also, best of luck with setting up your studio!🥰
Thank you for this comment and for ALL of your support! You are absolutely someone who is always so sweet on here and makes this community something we love. I'm happy you can relate to me about being real with content! Its easy to get trapped in what's trending or what you think people will like vs. what you truly and whole-heartedly enjoy. The world needs more people showcasing what they love and having fun with it. I'm excited for the future of this channel :) Thank you always <3
Hey mrs Bonnell!! It’s Cyntira and I just wanted to say that haven’t forgotten about you, recently before school got out I got directors award for chorus! My classmates and I still watch your videos regularly and we’re all collectively very proud of you❤️❤️
Hi Cyntira! I have also not forgotten about you and I am SO proud of you for getting that director's award! You absolutely deserve it! Please tell everyone I say hi and I miss you all so dearly. Being your teacher made every day so worth it. <3
you dont understand how jealous i am right now, i live 16 hour flight away in a whole different continent ITS MY DREAM to visit the pacific north west, already visited california but i REALLY wanna go to seattle, st hellens, astoria and FORKS
You have to make this trip! The PNW is just unmatched! My husband and I are planning a road trip out again to Washington and Oregon! It's worth the long flight!
Idk why but I’m like super surpised this is a thing cause I ofc wouldn’t but I feel like apt of people would steal the stuff and break in or something but dang you don’t know how bad I want to stay here
I'm hoping people are respectful! While we were there, a few different groups came up to take photos outside of the house but they were respectful and did it from the street.
