The reason they drown is because of lack of supervision. If their guardians were watching their children they wouldn't be anywhere near a body of water to drown. She did all the work. She's left to fend for herself. It's not always better to be a "good little swimmer". Trauma is horrible and babies and toddlers don't "just forget"
She will be 12 in October and a great swimmer. She learned respect for the water and the know how to survive if she ever fell in. She did hate it but this was nothing compared to burying a child. Peace be with you!
