What does it mean, it's either a 3 or 4 speed depending on how you look at it??? For a car that expensive and exotic you would think it would have a 4 or 5 speed!!!
I had a misfire, took it to a mechanic and he determined that the catalytic converters, there are two on my v6 4.0 2007 ford ranger, were plugged. Got that fixed and the truck runs great. This is hard to determine as the cats have to be removed to see if they are blocked.
People are INCREDIBLY lucky in this comment section regarding this car people saying they brought their lexus for $800 or $3000 the cheapest ls400 in my area is 7k with over 100k miles and looks 2 seconds away from falling off it's wheels any ls400 in decent condition easily goes over 10k its ridiculous at that point id rather by an actual luxury modern car collecters piss me off
I have a 2002 Intrepid SE that I bought brand new! Still looks like it did when I brought it home and currently has 129000 miles on it! Never has had any problems and is always serviced every 3000 miles!!! Love It!!!
i bought my o1 1500 sport quad cab new still have it. Black with the tan interior excefor the BS dash it pretty much still looks like the day i bought it. Im in Jersey and willing to bed you will not find a 23 year old ram not garage kept that is not a rust bucket unlike most trucks that are 10yrs old. It has the 5.2 magnum. I will never get rid of it and dont plan to ever get rid of it. As long as parts are available and body shops never go out of business i will keep it until i die. No way i need a ridiculous new truck and spend a $1000 a month. For what? Sure they look nice fully loaded but its a freaking truck. Yes i have made some changes to it set the cruise at 70 and i will get 23 mpg
I have the '05 base model with 4 cylinder engine. My wife bought n3w and gave it to me when my car (Lincoln) broke down too many times and she then bought a newer car. It now has 97,000 miles on it and I really like it. The biggest expense was replacing the AC because I blew the compressor seals. That'll teach me I think. Other than that it's just had new tires and a rear wheel bearing . I had the sway bar links replaced when they were worn but that was preventive maintenance because I want this car to last so I take care of it. Plastic door panels keep the finish looking brand new. Surprisingly the brakes are all original. No payments, low insurance and good mileage. Can't beat it for a retired guy.
LS 400 Easily the Best car I ever owned.....had many Luxury cars since....NOTHING comes close to the reliability....and sheer driving pleasure of an LS400. Quietest....smoothest....best built.....most reliable......most enjoyable car ......they simply will never be anything like it again....the sound system is truly incredible too....I bought the 460 and it was a terrible drive compared to the 400.....had 400 7 years.....460 six months...enough said.....Far too complicated for no reason....buy the best 400 you can find...repair with genuine parts only....and have the Best Car EVER made.
So basicaly if we get into your truck we just need to get a stick shape it to the form of the key and just twist it cuz the cilinder of the key doesnt works properly?
Okay, things that are worth mentioning, the TA has 4 wheel disc package, special tranny that was the same as a corvette that yr with bat wing washers for a firm shift and the radio and gauges used red light display the same as a tenth anniversary.
I own a 2001 1500 Dodge Ram 2001 Manual and it's a novelty to only have the basics; heating and air-conditioning and roll up handle to roll up your window instead of the electrical power windows. I've owned cars with all the bells and whistles but when I got this truck I was happy with getting very little but having the reliability. I got it for $200.00 and put in 5k and it's super reliable.
Does it still have the light steering feel of some of the older classic overboosted full size cars with power steering? I may be alone but I love that feel. But its not a requirement
Have a 2008 same as the one shown bought it new and 16 years later it's still going strong the 4.3 is as stout as they come still on the same transmission, not bad for $17000.
