On our channel, we like to get outdoors and tinker on almost anything. We have a small Hay operation, and that makes it a task keeping up with OLD equipment. If it's broken, we will try our best to fix or rig it to work. We are average folks just enjoying the outdoors. We have an interest in farm tractors and implements,hunting/fishing and more. I couldn't ever get my sickle mower to work well enough to be worth hooking it up to my 8n tractor. The very tip would always get clogged and then just push the grass over. Maybe it's the operator or adjustments needed
I have done all kinds of strange things, including sawing wood, but it was at too high speed and was connected to a piece of a moped, but also other things connected to do things. I know quite a bit about it.but I should make some more videos but I'm always too busy

You just need to run an alkaline solution in your radiator then drain and refill with distilled water, look in the radiator and you will probably see calcium deposits inside the tube. I wouldn't over do it with the alkaline solution. Don't forget to put antifreeze back in.
I definitely need to do that or have this radiator rodded out. But probably will purchase a newer one here soon and keep this one for a spare. Thanks for watching!
That combo of 8N and 44 is really cool!!! I like how it cuts, looks like it doesn't spend much energy on throwing the cut grass. Beats the crap out of a sickle blade mower as far as vibration too! Nice!!!
Might try to find a hydrulic pump that runs off the crank shaft like they used in the loaders then mount a little tank for hydrulic oil then put a log splitter valve so youll have life hydraulics when tractor is running and have up and down pressure make sure log splitter valve has float detent and the mower will float over the ground while mowing

Yes sir! We were trying to take out the top grass layer then the big tractor and disc would come thru and till it all under. When I plant gardens using it I go real slow and as deep as it will go. Thanks for watching!

@@lboutdoors8690 Many thanks for the reply. After what it has been through the blowby has to be expected. I'm more amazed it has enough compression to start. I'ts great that the spares are so readily available. I don't know what it's like for you but here in the UK the quality of the spares is quite variable even from reputable sources. Some of the parts we get have metric threads rather than the imperial originals which makes for some "fun". One I had recently was the steering wheel nut being supplied as M16 x 1.5 rather than 5/8 UNF - just close enough to tempt you to force it on and damage the shaft. Still, the stuff is cheap enough that I keep trying different suppliers until I find the good stuff.
