Mama's viewership has dropped after exo and bigbang left mama Mama had to end up the beef with SM and YG on their own to increase viewership. And that is exactly why aespa got 3 daesangs in one year. Not saying they didn't work hard but it was a majority of votes by exo-ls... Exo paved the way for SM entertainment and for both 3rd and 4th gen along with lots of other artists. Yes,i said that. Get that in your head that international doesn't only equal America Eris we got the power everytime.
I always loved how EXO looks so manly, they didn't wear too much makeup and accessories specially earrings which is for me that ruin any man look plus they're one of the best kpop group ever
Actually- The first company to almost break tight relationship with MAMA is SM and its not 2017 exo incident- But i think 2009- they boycotted MAMA because of the unfair thing-. Then it comes YG when they noticed the same thing too + bp's red faces. JYPE has strong ties with MNET prolly because JYP itself- Well, mama today change- they are now base in criterias (and- from the criteria of sales chu chu- it was now switched to my fav: quality (obv- music isn't just about sales only [and speaking of sales or numbers- it doesn't mean only to fandom too- it should be in gp too-]) anyways, if mama 2021 plays dirty- idk anymore

I really felt bad to those idols who have no choice for covering songs of sm and yg ent. I mean there's nothing wrong for covering songs as long as ALL artist will have to do the same. hello Mnet? Mnet really stoop down low for their show, they even have to ban light sticks nowadays because they know that army light sticks will be raised in front of other idol groups, rookie groups and artists which is gonna be an insult for making them look like as back up performances for the whole show.
