I find it interesting that many people go around it, despite the fact that it is merely sand. In this instance it is not the work that they are valuing, but the time involved creating it. The information is valued.
It is wild to watch in fast motion. I design and make quilts from thousands of pieces so I understand the design but how do you complete the graphics on such a large scale??? It seems that it would be somewhat like making Mt.. Rushmore?? Shari
This is awesome! (I came here from /r/deepintoyoutube if that's why you're wondering why you've got a glut of views.) Don't like all of the dickheads walking through it though, all that work and then they walk through! >:(
These videos are awesome, deserves more views. Definitely choose a better title for each video and add a bit more description text, that should help get more views.
Simon, you are epic! I love your art, especially your snowy creations. What tools are used and what inspired you? Do other people help with the art or is it solo every time?
Simon, When i have the budget i will personally travel one day near you and film your work from the perspective of gods. Until then you should consider hiring someone if you have the budget to do some aerial video shots of your work covering all the perspectives. If you do decide to go with the idea provided please avoid go pro cameras and generally action cameras as the lens will distort the actual picture. Keep it up.
Why did the video stop before the water covered it all! What an amazing piece of art done in such a great medium! I've done a few designs in the sand and snow but never to this scale. Great work Simon!
Simon Beck I agree, I'd love to see the entire process going from empty beach canvas, to the finished piece, to nothing again. Truly wonderful work. So impressed.
Simon Beck Wow, that is a lot less time than I thought. I honestly thought these took you all day long. Either way, you are very talented and your work is stunningly beautiful!!
