I’m Emma and I’m from Scotland, my heart will always belong to Scotland , but wherever i go ,i leave a little piece of my heart everywhere.I’ve lived in the USA for the last 22 years bringing up my 2 daughters. My passion for travel began a long long time ago, and i was never one for the main tourist destinations.i love the off the beaten path destinations. The places people know little about or places the Media has made everyone afraid to go to.Every travel adventure brings on a whole new meaning to my life ,and i am truly humbled by the people i meet,.i just want to show you all the world is not this big bad place and no matter the colour of our skins or the difference in culture, we are all the same :) it would help me so much if you SUBSCRIBE to my channel it makes a huge difference..
Thanks - this is even better than what the Deutsche Archeological Institute give us (all German). You focus on the scene of one of the most important events in Human history and places. I'd be amazed. The world just doesn't understand its importance yet.
Uruk = Start of Writing, Start of the Bronze Age, Start of Mass Production (Pottery) = One spot at the exact same time. One of the most important ancient cities in the world. Shame its so overlooked, and all the Assyriologists run around like chickens without their heads for the Tower of Entemenanki thinking its the Tower of Babel - sure isn't. Its in Uruk.

How do you find hosting on Couchsurfing? I think it is so important don't you? To give back, especially when people are so generous in countries such as Saudi or Pakistan? I make a rule that if I can't repay the actual person then I host more. Couchsurfing will falter without give and take.
@@savingfortravel698 I have the app , and used it for years … I use it mainly to meet locals but sometimes stay over , but also am ready to return the favor if anyone wants to stay with me … I’ve never had a bad experience and met amazing people

I swear when we were in Afghanistan some of these villages you remove the mud huts and the swap out the peoples clothes, it's like walking down the streets of a european nation. Blonde haired, blue eyed, red haired, green eyes everywhere! Truly amazing! I'll always love this country and the people!
this is so like neelum valley kashmir. the culture and landscape are identical like i was in my village, the only difference is we have more dense forests and elevated mountains. modernism is good but ruined the real experience we had by living in harmony with nature. we 90s kids are the last one to have this experience.
I hope you had enjoyed visiting Khost. Ministry (the directorate) of Culture is in 1200 families line which is quite a famous place. I am sorry you could not find it. I would have suggested to visit the 1200 lines which is quite nice and modern as compared to other places in Khost where more NGOs and other offices operate.
He speaks Arabic in English I can't really explain it to people who only understand the English I like the way he humbled his nepheweven even though he definitely have adhd😂
I hope someday I am able to visit this cradle of civilization city where father of believers Abraham started his journey before resting in Hebron. Thankyou Emma...from Indonesia 🇲🇨
@@ΜιλτιάδηςΒασιλείου-π9χ this was 2 years ago for one thing , and I think the locals deserve our business after what we did to them , I travel for the people , not governments .. so we should boycott a whole country? Where locals are already struggling, tourism supports local businesses, not the government 🤷♀️
More than 40 languages are spoken in Afghanistan, with Dari (Farsi) and Pashto being the most widely spoken. Dari is spoken by about 80% of the population, while Pashto is spoken by 50% even less. Most Taliban members speak both, and any who deny it may be showing bias, as tensions can exist between speakers of the two languages. Both languages are important, so it's best to find a tour guide who speaks both. If you find a Dari speaker, you won't face issues, as nearly all Afghans understand Dari. I don’t know how that guy didn’t understood what the Taliban were saying but it’s rare However, relying on a Pashto speaker alone may be problematic in the northern parts of the country. (Not with the Taliban but people) I know this because I’m an Afghan.
