There is no storm anywhere in CARMILLA. Laura does not keep a diary. At all. Anywhere. Her eyes are hardly mentioned. Carmilla is not afraid at all in any way of sunlight or garlic. Nor is Laura ever suspicious. No deaths are linked to Carmilla until the very end of the story. Baron Vordenberg does not arrive until the next to last chapter, and then hardly utters a dozen words in all. This last scene you're describing simply does not happen in the story. It just does not. Not in any way. Mina Harker never becomes a vampire in DRACULA. Nor does she behave in seductive predatory manner. Not in the novel. CARMILLA is not an epistolary novel. At all. Garlic is never mentioned anywhere in CARMILLA. I must presume the writer of this video has never read CARMILLA and quite possibly not even DRACULA.
