@@saltydinonuggies1841 🤦 fine, you be delulu all you like, it's literally scripted that once he's ascended he's toxic, but you want to believe that those words aren't sarcastic but meant 'lovingly joke' go for it, but I'm betting Larien wants ascended Astarion to be narcissistic, toxic, evil, so while I believe he's being sarcastic when he says those lines, you can belive what you want....
@@angelstarlight6030 I think it's possible for a vampire master to be very protective to a preferred spawn. That doesn't mean you are his equal. You are his property and he wants his stuff in one piece.
Sad he didn’t a whole lot of unique dialogue for becoming Ascendent. they should have added more confident and uppity lines to all his idle dialogue after Ascension. I rlly like this tho ❤
What he does when he turns her isn't consistent with how a Spawn is created. A Spawn gets completely drained then buried. The process he describes, giving you a drop of his blood, not burying you, and referring to you as "consort" all point to him turning you into his vampire bride, which means he CAN'T compel you. This theory is further reinforced by the fact that, after the tadpole is gone, he lets tav go wherever they want, leave him even. He says it is because he wants us to be there by choice, but I believe it's because he CAN'T compel his bride like he could a spwan😊 and regardless, at this point the tadpole is still there, so even if he was capable of compelling you, he couldn't yet😊
@@NotGoingBackHarrisWalz2024 he doesnt have to compel to command you know that right? When I was talking about free will it was more that he didnt become completly like cazador yet (yes ik about the origin "all but cazador yourself" part but im not refering to that). When you encounter cazador without astarion he tries to command you to do things by force and alot of the time that works. Astarion gives tav alot of free will despite all the power he has over them (even without compel)
@@NotGoingBackHarrisWalz2024 However he does say that once the tadpole is gone that your future is his to decide if you try and break up with him in the epilogue. Implying that you had a choice when you had the tadpole (like Astarion was free from Cazador with the tadpole), however once the tadpole is removed you now no longer have any real choice. He might choose to let you leave, but that would be Astarions' choice and not yours. I am not sure if this is a plot hole (since Astarion does say that a spawn drinking there masters blood will free the spawn), overlooked, or that the Ascendant Vampire somehow has more control over there creations than a regular vampire. Here is the link to the dialog I am referring to above: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QvtonhUjB00.html.
@@NotGoingBackHarrisWalz2024ok, you just made this up. No where in the DD lore must you be buried to become a spawn. You must be SLAIN by the vampire's attack. Astarion got stomped out and Cazador subsequently killed him and then gave him the blood when he was buried since you don't want to attract attention killing lawmen and judges of the like. That whole burying and vampire bride thing is inconsistent with D&D lore.
Not my intention at the time but now that I watch it.. it does remind me of a Sean of the start of a horror movie.. 😱😱😅😅🥲🫣 I just wanted to take cool shorts of my sims at cute builds.. lol
My birthday was a few days ago and my own hubby of 13 years would not come to my birthday dinner my family was throwing for me, or even get me a card a box of chocolates.😢 he gave me nothing. 😭 I teasingly said to get me some roses and he said.. that they cost to much and he looked online and said they where 300$.. I got some roses for his birthday.. and how much did they cost? 25$.. 😁 I also got him a 50 gift card a case of his favourite pop and a cake and I ordered Chinese take out for dinner.
