The tool block is 50mm, just set it on the material and lower the laser onto it and tighten. home it and either lower 25mm if you don't need active Z or just take into account of the 25 mm when setting parameters. (active Z and Z offset)
Do you need to allow the glue to dry for any length of time before letting it in the boiling solution? Also, how long should I let the solution cool the second time before putting the shell back in? This is really cool, and I can't wait to try it with alum powder! I've been making crystals with Borax, and I'm slowly getting the hang of it.
