G'day big fella, Had a 200 watt shingled Atem power panel on for 12 months. It developed snail trails and broken bus bars. Went with the Kings after your review. Off the top of my head, was rated to a max of 10.2 amps. Seen over 12 with my 20 amp Renogy Rover MPPT six months in. Happy as a dog with two dicks. Thanks for the review mate. Luke

As there are few reviews for this product I just thought I'd add my comments here. I have this fridge and when set to it's max -20 and at 20 degrees ambient it has a 66% duty cycle (5 mins running and 2.5 mins off). That was with it about half filled with frozen stuff. At close to 4 amps that's an average of 2.6 amps per hour or about 65Ah over the course of a day. It's pretty power hungry for the volume you get. That said, it fits nicely between the front seats of my 80 series and it was cheap.
@AverageBlokeAdventures

it is agood idea to fuse at the start battery in the event the positive drops out of the victron and earths out or something rubs through same with your house battery but there is no need to fuse out the victron as like u said it already has its own protection

A year late but a tip. Made a collapsible aluminium frame that holds the panel at 35 degrees, weighs nothing and packs away small. Pop a few microfibre cloths in before you fold it up after a clean. Stops scratching. Input and longevity has been amazing. Coming up 3 years, still getting 8 amps full sun. Keep em off the ground or windshield, like a semi flexible panel. Heat kills them.

Mini PV / Solar Tips: (Winter, also camping) A boiler and other hungry electricity consumers can be infinitely dimmed using the "5000W dimmer". Ebay €7. I run 5 dimmers in parallel on an 850W inverter. Kettle 2.2KW at 150W runs 12 hours a day, so the water is always hot. The room is also nicely heated. 2.5KW washing machine runs in parallel with dimmed to 200...400W. Iron, dishwasher, oven, electric heater, coffee machine, all internal heating are throttled with me. Videos on my channel ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eC2olbCBhh0.html The inverter stays cool, quiet and the MOSFETs + (battery) remain intact because no extreme current peaks arrive at the inverter. Now every Mini PV Inverter is enough to sell large devices. So, with the dimmer, all internal heaters/devices can be converted into base load devices that stay almost permanently ON, drawing very little current directly from the PV. With a wattmeter / energy cost measuring device you can then measure this perfectly in order to set the dimmer optimally. A little hint (for everyone else): Energy cannot be saved. So if I want to boil my water, I always have to use the same amount of energy for one liter. Christian's method relies on a longer period of time with less power in order to be able to use the power provided by the PV as efficiently as possible - so consumption peaks are intercepted. In the end, the energy consumption should even be (slightly) higher due to the interposition of the dimmer, but it doesn't matter, since more efficient coverage by the PV system and therefore better use of the self-generated energy .......... ............. 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞 ..................................

hi Joao thanks for the message it does make your drinks very cold if you want it to depending how you set it up it can be used as either a fridge or a freezer. as for the noise in my experience it is very quiet probably just as quiet as your more expencive 12v fridges the only issue you may have with ths particular fridge if you were to use it for cooling drinks is the size being only 9 letres it is quiet small how ever you can fit around 12 cans of beer hope this helps

At -20 degrees on the unit, the actual temp on my gauge read -10 degrees celsius. I noticed the inside walls only just started to sleet with ice crystals.
