I love watching the two of you play together. Fantastic complementing each other’s sound and range. I know a lot of these videos are several years old, but would love to see you guys together doing some more current things.

He's playing a Bach 10 1/2C mouthpiece, which was Jack Sheldon's size also. Both had great tone. It proves you don't need a large mouthpiece to sound good.
RIP Carl , he’s in heaven playing duets with Don Fagerquiest . One of the greatest of all trumpet players !! Very much underrated . He will be missed dearly!!!
Stan Kenton used to record around the corner from My Grandparents' N Bronson Ave 1922 home at Capitol Melrose at @5515 Melrose Ave, LA, Hollywood, as did Nat Cole & Sinatra, Peggy Lee & Keeley Smith, etc...
A Great guy!!! I played with him on an almost daily basis in Vegas. He played piano and I played tenor and we played his original tunes. Needless to say, I learned a lot! RIP Carl and thank you!
I've known Scott for over 40 years, and I'm pretty familiar with his output, so it's always fun to stumble across hidden gems like this on the web....second one in two weeks!
Keep this music going! It's part of our heritage yet it'd modern It showcases the best of the best, support it. Music today rock and roll, etc still takes from Went before jazz especially. Go Gordon
Kenton alumni band -what a stupendous idea! Saw the band in the mid-seventies at the Frog and Nightgown in Raleigh -small club with outstanding acoustics -best musical night of my life!
