Fermentation is science useful for creating healthy delicious superfood and rich garden soil. Thank you for your contents. From your bucket it seems a draining spout on the bottom isn't necessary but it's a bonus.

I grew Luffa last year and got tons of gourds. I mistakenly spilled some seeds in the greenhouse and this Spring they took off like a weed. Since I didn't want more sponges I searched for "can you eat luff?" and got your site. This is a great vegetable to grow because the bugs don't touch it. Thanks for the video,

Great helpful video! Started cutting into it before I watched the video. I had sticky fingers, seeds popping out, white stringy things everywhere and thought I better watch a RU-vid video about this. Yours was the perfect video🎉 I appreciate the tip about applying oil to hands and knife and suggestions of how to eat it and the seeds. Thank you very much❤

How has your garden fared in the recent 120 degree weather?. It seems that this extraordinary tepmerature rise will become standard on some parts of the for the US/world I'd appreciate any predictions on what plants will grow in the even higher heat ranges we are moving into.

How did you collect the rainwater? Did you just put buckets out in a rainstorm and gradually collect the water?

4 years ago. I priced 1\2 inch conduit last week and couldn't believe the price. I bought a ten pack for projects years ago. Not now. She's getting 3\4.

Nice video. Can you use the bokashi liquid to inoculate fresh scraps that are placed in the bin?
@wendiland
@wendiland 6 дней назад
Yes, you can save some liquid to get new batch started starter. But I would still add bran personally only because I haven’t tried the other way. Feel free to experiment though!

I would definitely add a bit of either chia seeds or basil seeds...Let the seeds soak till they are "whitey", and you get yourself some awesome probiotics drink!

I grew regular sweet potato in a raised bed and they ended up being bigger than my head lol I didn’t know when to harvest them so they just kept becoming Mondo size and now they come back every year because of how far they spread 😮‍💨🤣

I open luffa/gourd seeds with my teeth as you would a sunflower seed. Some get squished but most are ok and plant just the seed, no shell. It germinates very fast this way, a couple of days
