openAI will go bankrupt fairly soon, all they have is a trash chatbot and random fake stuff they announce every two weeks or so. $5 billion in red and no product in sight.
Cerebras didn't really come out of nowhere. They announced the first version of their "Wafer-Scale Engine" chip in 2019, and released version 3 recently. A single one costs between 2-3 million $ and eats 24kW of electricity.

Behind closed doors I think they’re massively ahead tbh, remember GPT-4 was finished training in 2022. Other ai companies have only started to catch up now.
@@AICopium Speculation is worthless. And I think we have different definitions of _massive_. For example, Tesla has a massive lead in autonomous driving - seeing as they have no competition in sight. Whereas OpenAI has competition that is often months or weeks behind. They're also on the verge of bankruptcy. And what happens now that they've locked in contracts with NVIDIA while their competition is free to use Cerebras and Groq? And what happens now that Ilya left? And what if Greg doesn't return from his sabbatical? And it's funny how Anthropic now has more OpenAI founders than OpenAI...
Yea you make a good point, OpenAI is definitely struggling as a business, with high level execs constantly leaving, melting billions of dollars and the countless controversies. Although, if these projects they’re supposedly working on like Strawberry and Orion are the real deal, I think they’ll have no trouble raising more funds, but as you said it is speculation so I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
@@AICopium another issue is how you splice sentences together. You leave a normal amount of air within each sentence, but the space between different sentences is unnaturally short, resulting in a cluttered listening experience.

Google self driving started 18 years back and its still not fully autonomous aroundd the world (ecept few cities andd dwith limited coverage). Tesla been saying they will have fully autonomous and its noo where near to be release for entire world !!! Don't be scared with news talking as if the end of the programmer :-)
@@SreenathV I know self-driving has been promised for a while now but look at Waymo’s cars, they went from 10k rides per week last year to now 100k rides per week. Tesla is also set to unveil their own robotaxi this October. So, I think we’re gonna actually see self-driving cars soon. I wouldn’t underestimate ai coding agents either.
The ACE is pretty cool, but instead of LLM like responses, which I don't see as that useful in most games, I'd be more likely to use this at design time. Is it available in that context - to just create some animations/audio ahead of time (design time)? I would assume so, but not sure.
I do not know when AGI will be a thing, but there will probably be a robotics revolution a lot earlier. Just imagine robots doing the heavy lifting, while humans watch those not so hyperintelligent machines doing repetitive work.
750 k Robots - not humanoid robots. they are the floor robots. They might have as much functionality as they need, but they aren't a humanoid for at all.
Everything shown looks really amateurish and early stage. I was born in 1980 and as a kid I genuinely believed that we'd be so much more advanced by now.
At this point, the generations starting on CS, I think are late, this will be the new "elevator operator" a profession that many people don't even existed today, in the future people will be like "Programmers" were a thing?
People need to go back to the old days of shopping in stores with humans not online with computers and robots without robots and computers Amazon won't exist there not competitive so they need robots to cover their lack of real salesmanship.
