What a great message! Understanding the Gods love is crucial to the life of human beings. I think most people don’t ever think to ask the question “why should I love God”? Often people don’t accept God‘s love is because they don’t understand it. On the topic of Gods love, I think a sermon should be taught about the misconceptions people have about Gods love. I keep coming across interpretations about Gods love that don’t line up with the Bible and are often culturally influenced.
Often, we find ourselves hearing others vent, or venting to others about our frustrations with leadership. Because our leaders aren’t perfect, we come across a lot of frustration with how things are being led. I think it’s important to redirect people to truth and communication with leadership. This message is a reminder that the line can sow negative seeds in the minds and hearts of people.
This is an amazing series. It is exactly what I need to hear as Im seeking a deeper relationship with Christ and learning what it means to be a true disciple. Holy Spirit revealed many things to me through the sermon but I believe my greatest take away is ordinary people can do extraordinary things when powered by Holy Spirit. As a Christian I’m called to love and serve others. In whatever way Holy Spirit deems that to be. When ever doubts or fears start creeping in I’ll remember what when powered by Holy Spirit I can and will do extraordinary things - love like you’ve been with Jesus 🫶🏾
What’s in my heart will eventually reflect my outward. It’s important that through the word my heart is being transformed. In my flesh it’s easy to “compare sins” but Christ died for all our sins and does not compare them so who am I to judge. Great sermon main take aways is be set apart, spend effective time in the word, and don’t lose your testimony through trialing times
I remember a time when my heart closed towards someone because they told me about their past. Specifically, they mentioned to me that prior to coming to Christ, they raped a woman. Instantly my heart dropped. The Holy Spirit spoke to my heart towards their sin and reminded me about where we all come from prior to God.
My takeaways as I was listening: Money should not have us. I love that we are looking at the disciples. Disciple is a student. Apostle is sent. New call to follow Christ wholeheartedly. Jesus didn't chase people, He called them. Go out and share, spending effective quality time with Jesus is key.
Great message! One thing that stood out was the simplicity to follow Jesus. Like Pastor J stated He had 100s of applicants but He found His 12. It might’ve seemed easy at first but it was hard work following. They were able to be His disciples and go out and make more disciples to serve the Kingdom! ❤ Also key to spend that quality time with our Father, 1) to know Him more & 2) to have him know you.
I think it’s so appropriate to celebrate and recognize our Christian holidays for what they are. How does God want us to love and show our love for Him? Often, we allow the culture to put a twist on something so pure.
Wonderful service. I enjoyed studying about Easter/Resurrection Sunday the last couple of weeks but never thought about asking Christ how I can show my gratitude. Thank you for this perspective. The biggest influence in my life should be God. Because of this, people should seen God in everything that I do. At times, I allow the opinions of others to influence me over what God says.

This was an awesome message. I have always lived life knowing that I get to choose what I wanted to do knowing that all choices have consequences. Now that I am following God, I recognize that all the choices I make need to reflect God and His desire for my life. True goodness does not come from what we do, but from God. -God is good (Psalm 100:5) -No one is good apart from God (Matthew 22:37-38)

Incredible word and lots of takeaways. Here are a few things that stuck out to me: one, really appreciating each other's differences and not just saying it with our mouths but living it through our actions. Two, lay down my pride because "my opinion" doesn't matter. Three, there is one King in the kingdom of God so why do we try to get the attention to be about us? It's really a heart posture.
Great message! God revealed to me awhile ago about the control that I feel that arises in me. I have known that the control doesn’t stem from my marriage, but from my relationship with my dad. Although my husband doesn’t and hasn’t controlled me, the feelings of control have caused me to lash out. This message is a reminder that I am responsible for my reactions, emotions, and heart. ❤
