You got the secondary voltage with the math. But it would have been easier to calculate it on the secondary side rather than the primary side. You have 220vrms primary with a 22:1 ratio (=220/22) = 10vrms secondary. So then, 10v times 1.414 = 14.14 v. peek on the secondary. Simple right? No need for math cause you can do it in your head.🙂
Great video! The only issue I see is your going to have a hard time drawing 1 amp through the load coming from the secondary of the transformer that is 12v @ .5 amps. The transformer's secondary winding will short out fast and the primary will follow suit, producing a short across your 220v AC mains! Better put a fuse in circuit on the primary side of the transformer to protect your wall outlet from starting a house fire! :) Seriously though, I did love the video! Great job teaching the math involved! :)

The thumbnail looks just like Forrest M. Mims III discussion on page 118 of volume IV of Forrest M. Mims III book Electronic formulas symbols & circuits...! Of course you can't go wrong using Forrest's work, he has worked so hard on his books teaching electronics from start to finish...All his books use the graphing paper and the fonts are distinctly his hand writing.
that was one of the first book I read after I graduated from Telecom school back in Cuba in 1990. Actually, I have read other books but yes the image was taken from there. I guess I need to find time to make images lol... I try better, my english is also not very good looking but improving. thanks for your comments
when you are doing this, change the default number to whatever the number would be in the boot menu, the first option is 0, then 1. in my boot menu windows was the third so i changed the default number to 2 and it started perfect
Thank you Sir for the rich teaching. And please Sir I have this board hp laptop dv7000 it's generating 5v and 3v on its coil (Inductor) but not powering on and I've tried programming the bios chip still not turning on. Please Sir what step should take to get it fixed?
This is a great video. Thank you. I had a unique different audio problem. For some reason when I opened the "Sound" app from settings my device was changed to Digital Output. I switched it to the Line Out Built-in Audio device and my sound returned.
thanks for sharing. Mine prompted me to select the edition of the os (home/pro/education etc) which i am installing .I also had this errorr: "could not create partition on disk 0 what could be the issue?
Thats a diagnostic video, not a fix! If you read this before you watch the Video: If you have checked your speed and pinged your ip and a other site, this video is useless. There is no fixing part, only diagnostic.
wpn service is just windows push notifications that windows os is using in background to communicate with microsoft servers...you can disable it or change registry values so you your os stop misbehaving in background. thanks for the video - will always check what the system is doing without your knowledge.
I follow this tutorial to setup my Ubuntu server with samba/Active Directory but when I am going to setup the Roaming Folder on a user for example on AD the roam not working. I have setup a shared volume to smb.conf such as the "data" example on this video, but when I sign in to user, system creates a TEMP user and inform me that after sign out my user data will be deleted. So when I setup a "User Profile" path on settings of AD not sign me as the specific user but as a TEMP. Any ideas?
any thoughts on why PGP will not work in Tbird on windows 10? The program works however when you setup pgp keys you are never get the option to encrypt. I have this working on Linux and windows 7 machins just don't see to work in win 10. /Yes I know I should just stick with Linux
