@@RusticTrends In Sweden where i live lampoil/kerosene is silly expensive. I use regular diesel in my lamps. Not even biodiesel. No soot, no smell, no problem. But for one who likes to be carefull maybe biodiesel would be better then just regular diesel. The lamp doesnt care tho

It doesn’t hurt to keep several on hand. One never knows if they will become unobtanium in the future. As long as the fuel dose not contain moisture and you keep the heater in a dry place off season you will have no issues of rust.

It also has an incorrect 25th Anniversary steering wheel. Someone really wanted the newer car look at some point. Funny that someone went to the trouble. I have a 88 1/2, and I want to REMOVE the sideskirts. Will keep the 88 1/2 taillights. I agree that they look kind of cool. I like both versions though. Great videos by the way. Keep it up! 😊

I believe the car is actually a 1988 1/2. Side strakes on the lower rocker panels indicate the likely model year. Ugly black front and rear bumpers were added for US Import to comply with US safety regulations. These are removable.

i,ve been using paraffin or keresene heater in the uk my whole life, (40 odd year.s) & my parents also had them when i was a child as well as a coal fire & would often be sent with our paraffin container to the local garage or to one of the local hardware shops. Where they would fill it up, at so much a gallon, these days its sold pre packed, which to me, (esp these days where they go on about plastic waste & recycling etc), is stupid, its now sold in 4ltr container,s ,at around 8 quid a bottle, (so its quite expensive & more expensive than petrol or diesel, & 4ltr,s is a bit less than a gallon) i have 4 paraffin heater,s, & it varies which one i use. But its usuly one of my old aladdin blue flame heater,s that i use. The heat it puts out will easily heat a small 2 up 2 down small terrace house, i also use a couple of victorian paraffin lamps, the smell dosent bother me in the slightest, & i quite like it. but i cant stand these automatic air freshner,s what people have, they make me sneeze & cough constantly, but somehow paraffin does not make me cough or sneeze.
Hello Michael. Life is hard right now everywhere. I hope this will all pass soon. We are all trying to find batter ways to heat our homes. And work shops. The only time I see it cheap. Is when you buy it out of season. I know one thing. You can use it for your home. You can put it in a old oil lamps. Gives lite. And some heat. Im glad you like my video. Very well made units mine is Aladdin S681U Equator II. Easy to change wick just rotate Counter-clockwise until tab up from latch then pull knob out to release wick holder collapse wick inwardly from pins reverse with new wick. It took me 2 tries to adjust wick height corectly 3/8inch exposed when fully to right knob (3X wick number) only use K1 or JP1

It’s missing the maintenance lid, has a new intake and coolant overflow. I don’t know if the Hondas are the same as Acura as far as model year changes but my guess is a 95 or 96. It’s a pre-97 manual NA1 but the roof is not black (so repainted or 95-96 model).

Kerosene gives a dry heat, whereas propane gives off a lot of water vapor. Meaning, if someone uses a propane heater in a motor home or some type of enclosed space, they'll have a rain shower inside due to condensation on the walls and ceiling. Kerosene won't do that. Plus, if needs be, depending on the model, someone can cook or boil water on the unit itself. Further expanding its utility.
