Do they still consider the minimum requirements from the final matric marks, when I apply with the marks of the current degree I am pursuing or completed at UP?
Hi @Sihle medic, do students who have never studied at a tertiary institution before, but are currently upgrading their matric or have taken a gap year, will they be considered for the BSc biological science extended programme at UP to enter the mainstream MBChB programme at UP ?
This one def made me cry. The places passion will take you,yey im here thinking of giving up because of 1-2 years delay but here she is 15 years later!❤ Im so proud of you !!!❤
Please help. I didn’t get the marks I needed in Maths and Physics for medicine. I met the minimum reqs but it’s not enough. What is a better option? To rewrite my maths and physics or register for a BA and do psychology and physiology. And then reapply after my first year?
Hey Sihle ...um currently doing Bsc in Biochemistry and microbiology n um a first so is it possible to switch to medicine after completing the degree? And can u pls elaborate about marks that are required pls
Hello 👋🏼 , yes it’s possible . The marks need to be competent because spaces are limited and competition is high . So an average of 80%+ would put you at a great chance of getting accepted
