2024 here, and this video and concepts still hold true. 5 of the 6 stages have had major restorations and landscaping sone since this video, and the venues have a more "professional" feel to them. The culture and atmosphere is still as accepting and respectful and friendly as ever, and Shambhala is now being recognized as the benchmark for what a Music Festival can be - electronic, or otherwise.
In 2024, i made a short 15 minute vlog of my experience at the Shambhala Music Festival - here is the link, if you would like to watch it. - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-U9-W1XrGEjo.htmlsi=fqOqWxYPF-P6lW_T
Sham is primarily an electronic music festival whereas confest is a volunteer driven and payment free (after entry) event with almost spontaneous workshops/entertainment. Sham is perhaps similar to confest in that there is no sponsorship/advertising, and freedom of expression is the norm.
Hi there! Thank you for your comment We thank Sean Rodman, member of moon tricks, who provided B-roll and music with full permission to use. I've edited the description to credit both Adam and Moontricks which the students missed in the final credit roll. Thanks for pointing this out.
