Do artists ever just carve or mold the porcelain clay and then fire it (no casting)? There is some vintage "allach" German Shepherd figurines that have insane detail and lifelike appearance. The piece was so detailed and perfect I am really curious how that type of figurine is made. If you search "Allach German Shepherd" you will likely find it.
Can anybody help us understand this sculpture..?.. Thanks for looking m.facebook.com/groups/183456011688503/permalink/3986671281366938/?fs=2&focus_composer=0&ref=m_notif¬if_t=feedback_reaction_generic
I’ve got a question... I’ve made a few sculptures in oil-based clay - do I need to mold with plaster to cast in porcelain, or can I use another material for the mold? They are a little intricate and would require a multi-piece mold if I had to use plaster. Thank you!
only plaster, specifically Pottery Plaster. Yes, might require multiple piece mold. I often have to make multi-piece several molds to produce just one piece. Good luck!
@@InspiredBritishColumbia and for those multi-piece molds, would you simply score and add slip to each attachment to ensure a firm connection to each piece before firing?
Hey Erica! Nice to see how you use our machine in the art community. There is a way to adjust print registration on a Riso. Give us a shout at Bryte Com Inc (Toronto)!
Beautiful video and beautiful message. Thank you Sandeep, hope and faith is the only thing that keeps us striving for a better world, a more equal world.
Thank you so much. Dirty Knees is such a meaningful exhibition, it helped me a lot. It's like I finally found the answer to all my questions in life. Thank you for your art.
What an amazing artist! I love that she paints by expressing herself and really become aware of how she feels to depict the story behind each piece! I would love to see art therapists being represented on this platform!!

Inspirés, inspirants, ces tableaux comme de grands poêmes visuels. Chercher la beauté là où peut être on l'attend le moins : impressionnantes textures! Chapeau Camille, tu as su traduire et nous partager « l'essence » de cette magnifique artiste...
(Do I need to pay for watching this?) I am inspired to grab a paintbrush now, and am the wiser for hearing you speak about what you see, how you see, how you ready yourself to start on a canvas. This is such a great short film!
Jeanne is a gift to the art world! Her hand-painted textiles are extraordinary ... you can not help be attracted to her work, her generous spirit and fearlessness. I have hung her art in my home and there is never a day I do not admire her talent!
This series is indeed ... inspiring! Jeanne Krabbendam expresses herself so well on the canvas and during interviews. Looking forward to see online the other artists filmed by Camille for the Inspired BC series.
