@@Luck7E i would like another one to tinker with on rainy days but i can't justify that price. Maybe i should have kept mine 😂 i sold mine for £2000 lol
Hey man I’m interested in doing this to mine after I purchase it next week. I have to ask what tool did you use to drill holes for the scar QD mounts where the rail is cut off? And can I replace the plastic rails with steel rails? And do they make the folding stock conversion for the mk22 or do I have to make that as well? Also how many rounds have you put through it and do you honestly recommend it? Sorry to bombard you with questions just trying to decide if I want it!
Hello, i done it so long ago now i can't remember tbh. You can replace the plastic with steel no problem. I have a link in the description for the folding stock mod its so simple and easy. I have put quite a few thousand rounds through it and had no issues. Just keep an eye on the screws/bolts though as they sometimes come lose. Its the only .22 I've owned so can't compare it to anything but it hasn't let me down.
One of the best DT's I've seen yet! Very good job mate... I have a question what type of rear tail is that? And did plastic from under the seat get in the way when you cut it?
@@marcus2474 Thats so shit to hear, to be expected with such a bling bike. Hands down one of the best builds I've seen on any bike, let alone a DT. I'm starting mine now, want to just get it done but this makes me want to really put all my time into it.
Hi mate, just wondered if you could tell me a bit about the suppressor adapter? Think it screws into the barrel shroud is that right? I’m having trouble getting one for mine🤦🏼♂️! If you find yours I’ll buy it off you😂! Great video cheers pal....
@@marcus2474 I found some barrel screw mounts or what ever they are called. Found them at a place called lock & load. They were called premium hand stop. They had different types, but these mount with a screw in the middle and have 2 tabs where the other screws would be. I cut down the screw that came on the rifle,& cut off front tab. The back tab fits in the notch on the gun & then just put the screw back in. It saves on having to tap and thread. Found a front site also. It hasn't arrived yet, but looks like it's going to fit the barrel shroud, so hopefully no drilling or tapping. If it doesn't is there any way you can show a close up of yours? Thanks!
@@hgarza1136 thats good then mate. Glad youve got the barrel mounts sorted :) and yeh sure. If you have any troubles ile get some close up pictures for you
I know im really late, but how did you adjust the carb with the 170cc cylinder and theopen air filter? I got an open air filter too and a 32mm carb and now i got a 310 main jet, would be interesting to know yours, did you have to go much higher then the original 240?
You need to go the police station and ask for a firearms licencing form. Fill that out, Think its like £90 or something these days which you pay when you hand it in. Then they'l pop round for an interview asking why you want one. So you either need to be a member of a firearms club or have sufficient land to shoot on.
supermoto marco you almost made it sound easy there haha, I’ve spent my life till today under the impression you can only own hunting rifles and shotguns here in England, shows how little I know when it comes to guns and the laws surrounding them. Thanks for your reply Sir and great channel very informative
@@evs9404thank you :) haha it's actually quite easy to be honest, I obtained my licence at the age of 21 just by joining an approved club. Noooo you can have so many different types of guns including 50. Cal if you have the $$$. I might have a few vids of my rifles on my instagram @ outdoor_marco if you're interested. if you're serious about getting a licence you should download the "guide on firearms licencing law" pdf from google and read through the law to get better insight on things. From there i would contact some local shooting clubs saying you're new to shooting and would like to get into the sport. 9/10 clubs are happy to help depending on how many spaces are available. Ifso let me know how you get on and ile try to give advice where i can :)
So you swapped out the standard forks for ones with more travel and definitely different spring rates but used the standard shock, I bet the balance of that bike was just outstanding lol
@@marcus2474 no I'm not I've been on one before that's had it done and it was just awful, the suspension they come with sucks to begin with so giving one end good suspension and the other poor leads to some really bad handling characteristics
Hmmm.... Let's see, how ugly is it possible to 'mod' a bike? Let's mix red, blue, black, yellow, white and gold. Yup, that's really ugly. Mission completed!
Nice review thanks. Love the Scar mods that you've done. I didn't know you could buy this stuff in the UK. Is that Lee Enfield at the range re-calibred in .22?
Cheers man! Yeh you can have any caliber here in bolt action or straight pull, just not full or semi auto. You can only have .22 in semi. No that enfield is .303 british
@@marcus2474 I used to use the Enfield when I was in the cadets back in the early 70's, both .303 and .22. Haven't lived in the UK for a long time now, so I'm out of touch with the gun laws. Here in Italy, if we have a porto d'armi (gun permit) we can own semi-auto weapons, but not full-auto.
