I just purchased the smoker set and the additional herbs and spices set for my husband for Father's Day. I wish I had seen this sooner. It is a beautiful box. Hopefully you will receive more soon.
This thing is great! I bought mine and have loved using it!! Check out my page for several videos of me using it for different cocktails. Including some of theirs!
I'm not a huge Earl Grey tea fan but drink it from time to time, but am a huge fan of gin, and all the ingredients together actually sound very good. I'm looking forward to trying this one! Thank you Jack and Paul for all your videos!
Everyone feels obligated to add background music to their videos. Completely omit the background music, wear a lapel microphone to improve your voice sound quality (in this video it is pretty bad). Speak clearly, keep everything else the same and you will have a great video.
Hey there! We used a brand new empty torch in this video, it really should be that simple. If you're having trouble please email us at hello@smokeshowsmoker.com with a video and we'll check it out.
Hey guys, as a business owner myself, I just wanted to say great job making this video. A lot of business owners would be afraid to promote competitor products, but you guys were smart and showed why you're better. The fact they use stain, turned me off right away from using them. I can definitely see why your product is superior, even though the cost is higher. I currently use a tube smoke gun, but your design has me interested for how small it is to store. I'm going to check out your website and possibly add it to my mixology tools. Thanks again for the video and best of luck with your company!
Really appreciate the comment and kind words! We try to be as transparent as possible - our goal is to help you get a great experience. That's why we are always working on our product, adding value wherever we can, and investing in education to help people really squeeze the most out of their purchase, whether it's from us or someone else. Glad you're enjoying!
Great info here but if you plan to order from smokeshow, know that they will be in no hurry to get it to you. I'm sold on it being a superior product but don't expect to get it quickly. I guess maybe Amazon has spoiled us all.
Hey there! We typically have a 1-2 day max processing time, but during the holidays our order volume literally 10x'd over night leaving us with quite a handful of orders to catch up on. We appreciate your patience though, and we're back on a normal processing schedule in 2024!
Great video! Thanks for the info. We use silicone molds here with bottled water. Not restaurant quality for sure, but works great for what were doing with it.
My husband and I just found your old fashion smoker! We just ordered it for his birthday and are so excited to try it out!! We have been watching all y’alls videos tonight! Love your posts about the different cocktails! Keep up the good work!!
Using the cooler method myself, and have found that letting the ice sit out for 10 min +/- (temper) makes the cutting into blocks much easier. Then put in a ziplock bag (trying to keep them in a single layer.)
Great tip! This is also why I don't force it out of the cooler - the 15 mins it takes to release naturally helps temper it pretty well. Also great tip on the bags - it's worth noting these can be refrozen and kept forever and they will stay clear.
Okay I was thinking when on is read to reorder smoke dust you should have a option to get a new tin or refill. I’m one who would rather save on packaging. Just a thought??
Thanks for the idea! We're all for reducing where we can so we'll look into how to make that work. Don't forget if you do reorder soon, you can always repurpose the tins for plenty of things around the house.
Y'all have been making some really solid cocktail recipes! Keep up the good work. For a base bourbon can I suggest something more like Evan Williams BiB or even benchmark bonded would be a great cocktail bourbon
Thanks so much! Absolutely love the Evan Williams BiB, thanks for the suggestion. This black label was something we had in the bar from our pre-youtube days, mostly for drinks that were only photographed, tasted then tossed, but as we run out we'll be replacing with more of our favorites. Appreciate all your support!!
Watched your video because it had aperol, always interested in seeing it used more. How would you describe elderflower cordial? People would probably find descriptions easier to digest with more details Cheers!
Thanks for the tip! We'll start doing that some more in our future recordings. Elderflower is actually kind of difficult to describe because it really doesn't taste similar to anything else I've tasted. I would describe it as floral, sweet, and refreshing, a little citrusy and a slight hint of pear. It's really tasty in anything with a clear spirit to add a little complexity and brightness. I really didn't think I'd use it much when I first purchased it but we splash a little bit in most gin drinks and it really livens them up. I hope this helps!! Cheers! - Jack
