produce 101 japan can use the name of produce because back before season 1 (which was during mnet's general hiatus for riggery post pdx) cj actually gave them the okay to use the name / branding and format. plus, all the groups are managed in part with cj (so they get all the perks like kcons, mcountdown etc). the groups are mostly pretty good! me:i and jo1 (season one's boys) make stellar music and have skills in abundance.
yeah i was really disappointed with chodan thing too. i heard also siyeon said some questionable things . but i always see magenta supporting other women, fangirling over kpop girls and giving them compliments. i wonder if she thinks the same...
your chodan take is pretty much the only reasonable one. it would be weird NOT to feel iffy after hearing what she said and the criticism she faced was very much valid, but the excessive hating is always unnecessary imo, and hating on the group as a whole is just plain stupid

i rlly want the unicode album but only the other version is available most places and there's lit no other unboxings of the album :( idk if its the same photobook or not...should i just buy it?? AHHH idk what do but i love them sm!!
im still tempted to buy the other version so ill def put it in a haul if i do… im assuming the photobooks are different icb no one has unboxed both versions yet it’s been out for quite a bit as well but id say go for it!!😁
