Hello Gentle Viewers! EDGe Projects was started as a way to document my activities building, creating and fixing that run the gamut of every day life. It has grown into an auto-biography of sorts. Through the channel, I am tracking our fun ventures into the world, interactions with our family, friends and pets and then trying to share knowledge that I feel may be getting lost as time progresses.
At no time in human history has the ability to share your story ever been so easy. I do this channel for me and I hope that in some small way, these contributions can help others. Whether it's learning some technique for working on a car, making a wooden sign, understanding an obscure illness better or trekking through a theme park, I hope enjoy sharing this journey with me!

In 1955 Mainstreet USA (its architecture designed to look like you’d see in 1900), was as far back in time to them as what a Mainstreet of 1969 would seem to us today.
Walt visited main street of Fort Collins CO and used some of the design elements to provide the character of Main Street as well. To think of the parallel and a street from 1969 kind of feels a bit disturbing to me!
right? 😂 I was born in 71, but tbh I’m all for an amusement park area which beckons back to flower power, Woodstock, and miniskirts. So much of Walt’s work was an homage to the nostalgia of his youth. WDW’s The Carousel Of Progress is still my favorite attraction for that reason. As Walt envisioned the opening scene begins in 1901, the same year he was born. It’s the way the world was as he would have remembered in his youth, replete with the decor and technology of the day.
5:20 we have Disney California Adventure Park a set of hotels & Downtown Disney District. There’s nothing wrong with seeing familiar faces like Alan Young Frank Sinatra and more.
I'm old enough to remember the parking lot! DCA and Downtown Disney were great evolutions of the area! I wonder if anyone remembers the Monorail Cafe at the Disneyland Hotel? They had a California Burger that I think about many years later!
Same issue here. I have replaced the Filament sensor 2x and it simply doesn't do anything. I do get the blue light, it just doesn't stop or warn when the filament runs out. It did when I first bought it for (guessing) the first few months.
I have the replacement mobo but haven't had time yet to swap it in. I'm wondering if there was a cold solder during manufacturing that is causing the fault. If I swap mine out and it works I'll of course post an update
I'll never buy this junk setup again. I have never in my life Had such a problem with strip lighting. I get the kit and an extension kit. They are good for putting in one straight line and that's about it. They don't make connectors readily available. Then you order them, they don't fit right. There are several different versions of the hue. For such an expensive system, they REALLY dropped the ball. They should have this light strip system with all the corners and connectors right there for sale with the setup. I genuinely don't know how anyone can customize this system unless you plan on doing some handy Andy crap
@EDGeProjects I didn't mean to rant on your video. My apologies. I talked our family member/customer into using the Hue light strip instead of her old plug in lights thinking it would add a nice touch in the end. We ordered the kit, and I ordered a 6 ft extension cable that I hid in the wall to jump the gap where the sink is, as well as what I though were the couplings/links. I open the box and start laying everything out and nothing is working out. The link pieces are solder on. You can't even get the couplers that slide inside the strip for a week or two. Couldn't find corners. It was and still is a complete and total nightmare. Then I started thinking, what a total missed opportunity for them. They could have a really quality product that is very user friendly, along with all the little accessories, and charge top dollar because of how good the quality and ease of use is. There is probably a huge chunk of people that are very unhappy with this product. Not everyone wants just a straight strip of lights!
I’m having an issue with K1 max, that my machine is showing filament is broken when it is actually loaded okay and printing fine. So it gives me errors when trying to start a new print, saying it has detected filament is broken, when it is not. i have checked the continuity of cable, and voltage output from motherboard pins, all ok. Thinking the sensor must be faulty. Can’t seem to find much on this fault. Weirdly though my Filament detector sensor has never had a blue light showing, at any point since delivery.
Just wanted to say a quick "thanks" to you for posting the video. It's very clear. I'm a homeowner and the video showed me how to repair a hose that a gardener sliced when planting.
They put the manual in a really crappy place. It's glued inside a plastic sheet inside the washer body. However, I almost threw my old copy away only 2 days ago, but decided against it! Sadly, I just looked and it only has codes up to 26. There are no codes listed in the diag chart for anything 27 or higher.
Hi! I found it on Printables at www.printables.com/model/23072-aliens-head . It comes already split into multiple pieces. To be honest, it's pretty flimsy, but it has great detail. Early in my 3D journey I tried to merge the stl's into a single one and make it manifold, but lacked the experience to do it in Blender. Now, I'm still a novice but less so and I lack the patience to do it. However, it is possible to print the stl's, glue them and then fill the gaps, break out the sand paper and primer to have a good looking xeno head.
It was definitely bigger than I had envisioned. It's very close to the 6' tall as described on the box. I haven't stood it next to my caretaker yet, but in my display there will be some distance between them just like in the ride. I also picked up the cat headstone and I have the Leota from last year. I looked at the Master Gracey and it didnt impress me, so I passed on it. I'll make my own
I would recommend running through the steps and if those things dont work, then you're going to need more professional help. I am just a guy who my wife asked for help on the washer that was misbehaving so my experience is super limited.
This is how I recall doing it - Hold start and turn cycle selection counterclockwise 7 clicks and release start button to enter technician mode and then Press and hold Start/Pause until E00 displays.
On the updated version, the lock mechanism definitely feels much different. The updated almost feels like it doesnt lock but with a bit of extra pressure it should click into the locked position.
I found this video because my K1C was making the same noise. Tightening the belt was a bit tricky and time-consuming, so I ended up cleaning the rods with tissues and isopropyl alcohol, then spraying the rods and the belt with WD40. The noise is completely gone now
What's interesting is that 2 days ago, I cleaned the rods and used white lithium grease on them too because they were getting noisy again. Sound cleared right up!
I see one thing that would likely get redacted, that Aunt Jemima jig. Where's the Silver Banjo Barbeque steakhouse that's owned by Don DeFore? I would like to try it out.
Motherboard replacement. Creality had no other ideas. Oddly enough, I still haven't swapped out the motherboard but I have the part. Filament still faulty but swapped in a micro swiss hot end yesterday and a motherboard fan fault that's been plaguing for months is now gone.
My Temp/Soil/Spin buttons (ge gtw680bsj6ws model) sometimes don't work (no matter how hard I press)...is that a motherboard issue and needs to be replaced?
Im no expert with appliances, but knowing electronics, the buttons there are likely a daughter board for lack of a better term connected via a cable to the mainboard. Could be a loose or bad cable, corrosion, bad board either behind those buttons or on the mainboard. If I felt comfortable doing it, I'd pull that apart, check the cable connections and then assuming they are plugin and not soldered, put some dielectric grease on the connections and plug it back in to see if it does better. Intermittent issues like that seem to often be bad electrical or data connections, usually from the cable with the electronics I've worked with.
I'm 6'2" and while its a tight squeeze for my legs and then the harness does sit tightly on my shoulders and leaves a bit of a gap between it and my torso, it's doable for me.
Really? I totally missed that. Just prior to this recording, we were riding and we're stopped for about 15 minutes above the lava pit in the big room. They let us go around a second time so that must be why they stopped it the first time.
@@DarkDoge Haha yup! I had to put it on my PC to see it clearly but sure enough. They were probably standing there and we come around the corner and it looks like they probably just hid their flashlights behind their hands because I think I see the lights come back on after a few seconds as well! Good eye!!!
@EDGeProjects thank you! I think they were there to reset the tunnel for the scene. I'm curious how the whole thing looks bring behind the whole chamber. Magic lights, jk. Lol
