This channel serves a dual purpose for me. It shows my talent and capabilities, but also, it's meant for entertainment and information. Mingled in between the many covers I have done, are drum lessons describing techniques, food for thought, and ideologies. Drumming has been my life for so many years, I can't help but pass on the happiness and fulfillment I have experienced all these years. If you take away a bit of info, a new technique, or just a smile, then it has served it's purpose. I also have a channel set aside for my student performances. Take a look at some of those kids! What players they are...
Nice job! You really captured that crazy hot back beat that G.Baker had. The other cream drum covers don't seem to capture it. Nice kit by the way...must of cost a fortune.
Thanks for the compliment...by the way, the kit is the cheapest you can find...old 12" and 13" toms, I sawed in half to give me 2 drums, with mesh heads and installed piezo triggers. The sound is coming from Superior Drummer 3 software via midi. I use an old Roland module just for inputs. This whole kit, without my TD12 costs about 500.00 in parts, minus the cymbals of course....
Refreshing a basic drum video with a really good drumming not over playing that I had was super consistent everything was perfect it was like a Swiss watch and I could get boring he did a great job
You inspire me Carmine. I'm a beginning drummer using all Roland gear running TD-30 module and I couldnt get my sound close to yours, it sounds amazing and your chops are magnificent. Ive never heard a kit sound so realistic and better than that eDW. Thank you
Thank you for the kind words, they are greatly appreciated. Well my kit started out as a TD12, an old old module. I think in this cover I used those sounds. I then switched over to midi and am using Superior Drummer 3 by Toontracks. All my latest covers are with SD3, using Roland pads and home made pads. I just have fun when I play and love to add lift by emphasizing the offbeat. Please subscribe and tell friends...thanks again!
