I wanted to buy a Lexus ES 300h. But, instead I have decided to budget myself as if I was making that car payment every month of around $400 for a used 2017 version. I'll throw that money in a bank account and let it accumulate until I either have to, or want to go ahead and buy it in the future.
Lexus is the best! First had a 2017 IS200t F-Sport for a little under two years & replaced it last year with a white on red 2016 GS350 F-Sport which has been an absolutely amazing car & is easily one of the best used luxury cars you can buy!
Sadly soon all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime. :-(
Thought I was an ES kinda guy. Test drove a 2014 IS 250.. too small inside especially in the back for my gf and son. Test drove a GS.. LOVED the size inside! Din't even bother test driving an ES 350. Just bought a used 2013 GS 350 w/Luxury Package! My first rear wheel drive.
@@aahussein3598 The front of the GS looks mean and a lot better than the ES (which the front looks pretty boring). The GS 350 is quick, turns corners really well and isn't TOO big or too small. Just right for me!
LEXUS vehicles stands alone as far as RELIABILITY,DURABILITY,BEST cars on the planet for the money....I want that 460L AWD,and will have it shortly....
As time goes on, the Lexus will still feel like a new car. BMW....not so much. Plus there's no comparison in terms of reliability. Lease the bimmer & get rid of it after the lease is up. Buy the GS & keep it for 10 years or more.
