Hey there! I filmed this on a Saturday morning. Here's more about the farmer's market from the Eastern Market website: easternmarket-dc.org/our-farmers/
6:10 That intersection had only a couple of stop signs for decades, and then they not only changed it to a stoplight but then made the light interminably long. People wonder why people jaywalk in Boston -- it's because planners make incompetent decisions. I could write a catalog of intersections where the traffic signals were set up by people who clearly did no research into how the intersection should function.
@@WanderThisWay Yeah, had a flight last year that was completely full too. It's popular route, especially for Americans. It's relatively close by flight time and there's the ancestral linkages. I think that hafl-full flight was just an outlier.
I used to be a tour guide and go to England a lot. Well Ireland is right there so the weather is almost the same. Man how I hated it. But the money was good. I can't stand England just for that, Rain and overcast and nasty 11 months out of the year.
Thanks for this. I used to take that bridge to walk from Heron House to Lake Anne Elementary school in the 80s. The stair structure at 3:20 is hollow, we used to swim underneath, it was like a cave. Good memories. Thanks Mom ❤
My former US Army Commander Lt General CPO retired here back in the 80s. 3 star. Great man. Wonderful friend. He is 84 years young and sharp as a tack. I am having problems at age 70 so have no idea how he did it. Genetics, good living. Virginia lifestyle. I love this place. My Italian wife thinks it is the best State in USA. We drove through in 1996 on trip from California to my home State of Maine.
