I am a late diagnosed autistic and ADHD man originally Aspergers Syndrome or Aspergers’s from the UK, I looked and couldn’t find any relatable information o RU-vid when I was diagnosed autistic. So now I am putting out daily videos to help people who’re on the path to an autism diagnosis, or an autism assessment. You think you may be autistic? But where do you go from here? I am here to help you navigate everything autism traits related and how to get an autism diagnosis.
This channel is for you to use and create a better autistic life for yourself! From my heart I want to help as many autistic adults as possible and show the world autism in adults.

This sounds awesome as an adult with ASD, ADHD, TS, GAD, OCD, APD, it’s very hard to find fidget/sensory items that easy to go out in public with without people staring or saying why are you using baby/kid toy aren’t you embarrassed, so it would be great to find a product that meets fidget/sensory needs that look more adult like. Also purple needs to be a colour choice in whatever you make it’s a nice relaxing colour
ADHD person here with GAD, and I absolutely agree that ADHDers stim. It wasn't until I started working with autistic children that I realize, "Hey, I stim a lot too." And that thumb twirling thing, I did that A LOT as a kid and would find myself doing from time to time as an adult too.
Personally, I mostly use Ritalin as anxiety and to clear up my thinking. It's probably the best thing that I've ever used for those things. But, it's also an odd use for the medication.
Active sensory overload detection and deployment system; We have the technology to do it, i it wouldn’t even be that hard to make the software, the system gathers data points from different senses, runs all of the data through a verification loop, once all sensor points indicate sensory overload, it will send it signal to activate the assistive technology involved, such as active noise canceling headphones.
My 8 year old son (who is currently non verbal) does this all the time. I never understood why until today. Thank you for such content! You have a new subscriber😊.
Physical empathy is off the charts, but I also care deeply for others and their circumstances. I think it’s sad to be labeled as narcissistic just because my face or words don’t match others’ expectations.
I was wondering about this. I don't know how many times someone has said something to me where I responded, "What" and then a second later I got what they said.
LOVE your explanation of to do lists. I make so many lists. And people look at me like I'm crazy. I thrive with lists. And the more detailed they are the better I function. I'm not crazy just different
I thrive on 4hrs.... I know it sounds silly but anything more anything less I can't function. I function optimally at 4hrs. Wish I could achieve my 4. I still think sleep is an optical illusion, it doesn't exist

This person dont have autism. My son is autistic and he hitted his head alot and he is 16 and cant talk so fast like him.He needs to think before he speaks. He is very fluently speaking. SO, this is not an autistic person This is BS
I have Asperger’s (I was diagnosed as a 6 year old.) but do not have ADHD, I can hyper focus on a project, like right now I am fully restoring a pinball machine. I find that during times where I become super engrossed in my projects that I will ignore hunger or thirst entirely and before I know it I’ve been working nonstop for I.E. 14 hours (which is why it’s awesome that my wife will remind me to eat or drink because she will notice weekend projects outside of work will overtake my entire focus.)
So true. My teen never gets my sarcasm yet I think I'm bloody hilarious.. also he's obsessed with he's hair.. is that a trait? Hairspray costing me a fortune
I'm autistic. I loved spinning as a kid. Now it makes me dizzy and it's hard to do. But I frequently turn around at random, like once or twice mid walking. I mask it by making turns or stopping to look at something and acting like I forgot which way I was going. It's not a quick spin, but it satisfies that urge to turn around. Based on what you said, that makes no sense. I don't get any connection between spinning and the brain trying to catch up or align with the world around me.
I’ve got Autism Spectrum Disorder and I’ve got Multiple Sclerosis, I’m looking into if the two brain conditions could be linked,I have had lots of problems at work with communication with other people, doing multitasking, and hyper focus on jobs/hobbies where I have to get the job done and leave eating out until I’m finished
MS is an autoimmune disorder just like fibromyalgia and lupus. It’s your immune system going hyperactive and attacking your spinal cord etc. unless you can find a way to stop the immune doing the attack , it won’t ever go away.
I’ve always been concerned about joining/including myself in anything related to Autism. I instead have become adept as masking which allows me to blend reasonably well into society. I have noticed that certain people are still able to recognize that I do deviate from societal standards though.
