It's a part of my identity. Oh God I mind back in the early 80s my dad would wake us up and say , they're here but we had already heard the flutes making their way to our village of Pumpherston West Lothian and it was some parade ooft went on for ages. I remember people had to wake up the neighbours or least chap the door for them to move their cars because the parade couldnt get by properly 😂
I’ve never thought about this but James controlled the English army at the Boyne. William had Scottish and Dutch soldiers. I’m English so my ancestors would have been with James probably unless there were a few rebels? I’m devastated 😂
