I love rock and metal music and going to rock concerts. I have been playing guitar for almost ten years now. My favourite guitarists are: Michael Schenker, Doug Aldrich, David Gilmour, Ritchie Blackmore, Alex Lifeson and a couple of others. My favourite bands are: Dio, Pink Floyd, Michael Schenker Group, UFO, Rush, Judas Priest, Alice Cooper, Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Halford, Doug Aldrich/Bad Moon Rising and more.
As good as this is it ain't as good as Micheals original version. Micheal rediscovered his love of guitar on the walk on water album and you can tell by just listening. Every song has schenker abusing and molesting his guitar , in a good way lol, like he used making it groan, squeal and scream!
Walk on Water is not just a favorite UFO album of mine; it's a favorite album of all time. If you have not experienced this album, order it. You won't take it out of your player. I guarantee.
My favourite band from the mid 70's but a pale shadow now although I still love Thijs. this song just sounds repetitive and rock despite the fast flute!
Good video and great close ups of Vinnie, my own effort from Bath Komedia is on my own RU-vid site and I use a Panasonic TZ30 that has a built in graphic equaliser that very successfully smooths out the very high volumes.

Interesting to see that clip. I was at R&BCS 24 the week before andf had a ticket for the Frome show. But I could not bear to see Michael in that condition again and so gave it a miss. BUt now he is in the best form I have seen him ever including 1982 at Reading - a top 5 favourite concert of all time for me.
Excellent vid - apologies my bonce features so heavily! Great to see Michael on such faultless and happy form. Don't know that I have ever seen him better. I can't hear Rock Bottom too many times and look forward to seeing Michael again - perhaps on the farewell Scorpions tour later this year.....?

Man,I was fortunate to check him out in LA Hollywood during this tour & he played great ,then all these shows canceled & bad performances but is so great he came back looking,playing great again,not like the 80's,90's Schenker but he can still deliver a great show,I never lost faith in this great guitarist & always wish him the best,1 of a kind man!
