Some memories there. Lived down there for 40 years Kam Too.. shows how much other Chinese takeaways used to make when they could sell the stuff for 1/3rd of the price !
I feel you, I'm going though this exact problem, the average person has no idea how to do basic maintenance and refuses to send their bike in for a service annual at bike shops
What annoys me with the vois are that the zones take too long to update on the scooters. I tried to ride through portsmouth guildhall, a no ride zone and it only stopped my scooter when i was 3.5/4 of the way through. And it's also activated when i ride past a zone. Not sure if it updates using phone GPS but they need to do somethin about it
Had you continued about half a mile further you would have reached west Meon station which is relatively intact. You can sit on the platforms and eat a picnic etc
I lived in Southampton in the 1950s and early 1960s. The Northam Bridge Park stands on the causeway which used to carry the main road leading to the previous Northam Bridge which was just downstream of the present one which replaced it in 1954/1955. I remember walking from the Bitterne side along the causeway and over the old narrow vibrating iron bridge to reach the Plaza cinema which eventually gave way to the Southern and later Meridian TV Studios. Buses had to drive slowly over the old bridge and there was a strict weight limit.
Thanks for the video. The dive propeller on mine starts running when I switch on the transmitter. Is that the router interference issue you referred to?
You have some brilliant videos mate. I often ride my motorbike through the byway in parnholt wood. Nice to see some of the bits where I'm not allowed to go.
Oh my god I used to have a paper round at that newsagents, putting the supplements in was a ballache! I lived in Byerley Rd from 1977 until about 2004. I also spend a lot of my late teens in the Connaught Arms!
