I have 2022 Santro base model, good for minimal to higher usage, low cost maintenance, and good in drive. We are small family, why go for show off with high end suvs.
None of the above cars were really slow by Indian standard. Most turbo charged engine are detuned for better fuelefficiency . They can be easily remapped but one needs to keep in mind the brakes, tyres ans suspension settings won't be ideal for this remapped engine. Need to upgrade this too. A minor bump is ok but anything more than 20% is a risk with factory fitted tyres ,brakes etc Clutch burout Or auto box failure is possible

First of all congratulations 🎉 for 500k I had civic usme as you said in video ttoo, sirf airfillter, remap and exaust hi change kiye the and thoda bahut aur jaise fuel injector achhi power feel hoti thi❤ but at the end ab vo vapis stock hai 😂 reason also as you said parts kharaab ho rahe the baar baar and milege was beyond imagination.
But i learnt a lot with that all process about car and car engeneering and now i have much more respect for all car manufacturers it's not a everyone's cup of tea ☕
I am driving 2010 Renault Scenic in UK which is 1.9 diesel tune to stage 1 from 130 bhp to 180 bhp and Torque of 270 mn to 380 mn. It really works provided it's tuned by professional where mapping file is tried and tested. Because it's very common in Europe, these files are readily available. For Indian cars these remapping can go horribly wrong.
