thank u bro, i swore i needed a .5 guard. My problem is when i fade i dont take as much time as i need to when im using the 1 guard . u taught me patience fr and technique
Definitely bro, If you get used to using the lever opened as your .5, you really need to take your time using the 1 guard, that way its much easier to erase that line with your lever opened. It’s a technique that will definitely make you faster if you really practice and get used to it.
Of Course brother! Im glad you find this video helpful, I wish you nothing but good luck throughout your journey, Im always here to help with whatever questions you might have, God Bless🙏🏼
If you are just starting out, I recommend you start with the Magic Clips clipper or the Wahl seniors clipper, they both go for like $120 each and they are great for beginners. For trimmer I recommend you start with the Andis GTX-EXO, it costs around $130. And for Shaver, I recommend you start off with the Andis pro Foil lithium Shaver. This is exactly the setup i started with when I was first learning. Great for beginners! But again, this is just my personal preference, you can always find better/other options available, please let me know if you have any other questions, im here to help!
Like how you had it basic. I just started barber school and I’m about to hit the floor soon. Lowkey scared to cut hair but I’m having my instructor next to me
@@ivonnecancino1076 I like to keep my station basic and only use what I need. At first it is scary but it’s just a phase you have to go through, eventually you’ll start to feel comfortable in the shop and slowly and slowly you’ll be gaining confidence. Just focus on perfecting your craft and getting good at cutting, once you accomplish that, everything else will fall into place.
@@Jblendss yes definitely will perfect my craft. I’m a person who likes to overachieve things. I’m excited on my new journey. Thank you for this video. 👌
I'm kind of new to all the mens grooming stuff, and I could be missing something, but what is the main purpose of using the Clubman Powder? I've seen it many times.
Barbers use it because it helps to clean the hairs off after the haircut using the neck duster. What it does is it absorbs and also refreshes the skin and helps with irritation, it also smells really good!
To become a licensed barber through an apprenticeship, you are required to complete 2,250 hours of training under the direct supervision of a fully licensed barber.
It all depends on how often you practice and how dedicated and consistent you stay. But for me, I would say I started seeing good results after about a year of cutting🤝🏼
