Alright thanks, that's a great response. So now what I'm also trying to understand is whether it is possible to print a bigger sized logo or not. Let's say perhaps in sections. I noticed on the one frame (04:03) that the image was large and they had to reduce it to the screen height. Let's say I wish to print something of that size, should I crop and cut the entire image into multiple images/frames? Please can you help me with clarification on that aspect. Hi, thanks for the question! Marking depth is directly related to the material hardness, the character size on the tooling and the marking pressure of the machine. While exact depth is difficult to measure, this Roll marking machine produces up to 3 tons of marking pressure on mild steel using 1/8” characters, resulting in a mark that is approximately .006” to .008” deep.
Generally, it's possible to etch clear glass with a fiber laser, but the type of glass, its thickness, and other factors will affect your results. As such, we can't give any specific settings for your application.

To increase the angle, go into the Ring Splitting menu (Extras>Splitting>Settings>Ring Splitting) and change the value of the Splitting Angle. You may also want to confirm that the measurements of your part's diameter is correct.
When rotating marking, the axis can only be moved back to the initial state. Would you like to initialize it? The phrase appears, but if you press'yes', it says'Timeout'. Because it is written in Google Translator, some delivery may be wrong. Thank you.
Sorry for the late reply; we're looking into this. Can you tell us if you're getting an error message? And if so, can you tell us exactly what the message says and provide any error codes?
Generally when annealing, we start with Power at 20 watts, Frequency at 20kHz, and Speed at 75mm/s, with the laser slightly out of focus by about 4mm. But that's just a starting point - we make adjustments as needed. We have a short video on annealing which you can see in the link below. However, because lasers and applications vary, settings that work for us may not work for you. We know Star Wars isn't trying to be accurate with their depiction of lasers but we thought this would be a fun way to learn about lasers and also see the different ways lasers are portrayed in media, whether it be accurate or inaccurate. Also, Ruser really likes Star Wars and couldn't believe Will has only seen The Phantom Menace.
Our Stingers will not mark on glass as the air pressure required to safely mark on glass would not be enough to move the Stinger's pin.
