TIPS FOR USING RTV WITH GASKETS (straight from FelPro) Proper application of RTV will result in a lasting seal; follow these tips for a successful gasket installation. Please remember that Fel-Pro gaskets are to be installed clean and dry, and that RTV is not designed to be used as a supplement sealer on gaskets. Uncured RTV can act as a lubricant and cause the gasket to slip out of place.
You definitely need to take apart all the switch connections and clean them. I found a number of spots that were si.ple and easy to fox just by cleaning EVERY wire connection or switch. The turn signals as well are prone to malfunction just from dirt and rust, corrosion etc...
Would you rather run a little bit looser tolerance, but in spec than a little bit tighter tolerance? Ive heard from the giy that built mine he likes to run on the loose end so it dont damage the valves as quick. But down side is its a little noisy. Its a 04 ltz 400 Athena 440 kit. Stock cams, stock carb just tuned to the air filter and exhaust
I understand your sense of frustration with the carburetor. I suggest doing some legit research. Watch some guys tear down and rebuild and tune carbs.. watch multiple different ppl.. your only limitations are what you don’t learn young man! I felt the same way as you! Keep experimenting, make mistakes.. things will make more and more sense. Don’t give up! You got this
@@kikemotors6138 if you plan to keep the bike, buy the clymer manual. It gives you all the specs for spark plugs, to dialing in the carb.. wish I could help you out more bc that bike seems like its almost there.. something stupid needs tending to 🤔
What happens to the days you could just reach in the back and change a bulb. Better yet the days where you gust unscrewed the bezel off and replaced the light. SMH 😂
@@GeraldoSantos-jf7xz are you sure you are a top dead center they should be pointing away and you should have arrows on sprockets two point up . Two pointing in at each other and the last two pointing down
Brooo my flywheel was rusted out I had another engine so tried to put that engines flywheel and stator on mine but the lil pin to aim you flywheel like the crankshaft lil pin it broke off so now the flywheel is on but the crankshaft is moving but the flywheel isn’t help me out.
It still should technically move even with out the pin but if your saying the pin broke then you just andswered your own question take it off again and put a new pin you can buy them at ace hardware and reinstall it.
I used to live across the street from an airport landing strip and hanger and and least 3 times a week id watch a Goodyear or a big orange blimp land and take off the next day pretty cool this was in Texas and now it's just a municipal airport for personal aircraft
I bought one a couple months ago and haven’t installed it yet. I was getting ready to install it, and now I’m seeing it’s going to be to long on a raptor 350. Apparently they changed something from the warrior to the raptor foot peg distance. I’m seeing everyone say to run a 04 yz250f shifter now but can’t confirm anywhere if that’s even a good fit for a direct shifter, I can’t stand the linkage design anymore.

Recently bought used 2016 Teryx4 here on Kauai and just going through maintenance items to be sure she's good. Changed dirty front and rear fluids and oil / filter. We use it on a 4ac farm land at home that is mostly sloped pulling a mower among other tasks.
@@kikemotors6138 I was just confused mostly as I never took off head messed with timing or did anything with rear cylinder just the front. Had a bent valve so I replaced all 4
