I found the first books to be pretty mid. It REALLY picks up in Queen of shadows(oh those last 200 pages) I'm still reading empire of storms and I've read like 400 pages and i already know it's a five star for me no matter what happens from now Loved your vlog❤❤
I read Gone Girl a couple of years ago and can't remember anything about it. I went to Goodreads to jog my memory and that didn't even work. lol I gave it three stars. I think I read it because it was on Barack Obama's list. haha Alone Time sounds pretty good. I like psychological thrillers but I get too scared for horror or murder mysteries. I'm still on a fantasy kick at the moment.
@@lisaplummer8144 yea i’m not sure gone girl will be one i remember for long 😬 what good thrillers have you read? i feel like i haven’t read any psychological ones so id be interested in that! but me too i’m always on a fantasy kick haha
@@myliteraturelife I liked The Silent Patient and Our Wives Under the Sea. I can’t remember if the latter was a psychological thriller but I think it was. I really loved it!
Hello, my name is Christina and I'm new to your chancel these are the books I'm reading The Knockoff by Lucy Sykes Blood Sisters by Jane Corry The House Made by Freida Mcfadden Chill Factor by Sandra Brown Masque of the red death by Bethany Griffin The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman.
I can't wait to hear what you think of American Gods! ETA: I watched Firefly Lane, not knowing it was from a Kristin Hannah book. I loved the show and was mad that I didn't read it first. lol The Great Alone was amazing.
@@lisaplummer8144 i just started hearing about her books and i think The Great Alone might be the most intriguing to me but of course i didn’t get that one lol
Writing is different between TOG and ACOTAR- Maas started writing TOG as a teen so you can see the progression of her writing maturing throughout this series and then ACOTAR is straight adult romantasy. Enjoy, out of both series- I liked TOG way more.
wow i don't know how you don't have more subscribers, the quality and editing are so good!! loved the vlog, gonna binge some of ur other videos as well lol <3
from what i've read online, sarah j maas released the novellas on the internet somewhere before throne of glass came out in 2012 & then published them as a part of the series as they were being released. i'm sure they were edited from the internet released versions, but she technically did put it out first:)
so happy I randomly discovered your channel, I love your vibe! also, apollo is such a cute little baby, please give him lots of kissies and cuddles!! 🌞
I loved ACOTAR, but I didn't like the smut. I thought it was unnecessary. Recently started CC1, but found out after I got into it that ToG series was supposed to be done before CC series
@@Damatovg did you like CC1? i can’t decide if it’s something id be interested in. and i think that TOG is less smutty than ACOTAR ? i’m not 100% sure tho
Been in our house for about 8 months now. It’s taking so so long to fill. Our front room is empty and most of the walls are blank. But hey, our office is now beautifully done. I always heard it’s a marathon, not a race! It’ll happen in time 🫶
I'm 59 and I feel the same about emails. I read the ones that interest me and 1000s of others sit there unaddressed. I don't delete them. I just ignore them. haha Enjoying your videos! New subscriber.
@@Abbisters31 nope! you can read empire of storms first and then tower of dawn since that’s publishing order. i know reading both at the same time can be super intimidating but it’s a really cool experience!
DUDE i struggled SO hard on heir of fire i almost DNF'd it! i legit posted in the reddit being like ?? please convince me to keep reading it?? but THENN it ended up being my favourite series of all time lmao dorian and manon were my favourite part that series
@@lucycanread it was such a struggle for me to get thru too!!! but i’m also so glad i kept going and the last three books really sold the whole series for me! also yessss manon and dorian are my favs 😭
Just stumbled on your account and I like the way you chat between the book! Makes me want to read the book and see what I feel at those points too What would you recommend to someone trying to get out of a reading slump?
@@anoushkachakravorty5122 thank you so much! ooh such a good question… i always go for a romance that doesn’t require too much brain power lol. i think ali hazelwood would be perfect for that specifically love theoretically and not in love! her stem romances might seem complicated at first but you don’t have to know what they’re talking about to enjoy the book 😂
i actually really liked acotar (didnt finish the series tho) but im primarily a fantasy person and ive been debating reading TOG. i loved your video! just subscribed <3
@@myliteraturelife I didn't want to have to reread Crown of Midnight,so I went and read a synopsis of it,and was amazed at how much I had forgot had happened. It actually sounded so good.I'm so glad I discovered your videos!
Ok now you're making me think about giving this author another chance! i hated ACOTAR as well and kinda gave up on her, but happy to see that you enjoyed this series. Loved the video xx
@@myliteraturelife I listened to the audiobook during covid and I remember exactly what I was doing during the big reveal of the book because I was just so absolutely shocked lol I’m not a person that tries to figure out twists in books though, I just go along for the ride 😂
