You are very welcome. I just made another batch last night. So yummy! PS: If you like homemade hummus, these work great blended into white bean hummus (my current fave), or garbanzo/chickpea hummus. Cheers, Ivy.
Amazing! And no need to take them out, place them in a container and cover them to sweat. Just leave them inside the air fryer for 10 minutes after they finish cooking. So easy to peel!
Hi! For me, I like to take them out of the air fryer straight away, cover them in a glass container and let them cool that way. Skin comes off great that way. I like apple cider vinegar and maple. Delish! Happy Cooking!
I roast my capsicums in my 4 slice toaster and afterwards I'll toaster 4 sliced bread and have with the peppers olive 🫒 oil balsamic vinegar and parsley. Yum..awesome video and thank you for sharing your recipe ❤❤❤
That's another personal call. You'd have to make or or maybe buy a jar and see if you like the taste of sesame butter. Some love it. Some don't. Really a personal thing that I can't answer for someone else. Give it a go and see what you think. Also, some folks love to make tahini fudge (chocolate and tahini together). You could play around and see what works for you and what doesn't. Happy Playing!
Hi! Thanks for taking the time to stop in. I've had reds that were really sweet (not those in the video, ones from a local farmer. Bullhorn peppers. Oh my yum, so good that they never made it past the table. Ate them all!). Happy Air Frying!
I got one at good will had to pay 7.99& tax. The box looks like it was stored in a wet basement. Definitely have to experiment with this donut waffle iron thing.
Why whenever I make tahini in my vitamix it ends up getting too thick like a paste and end up pouring lots of olive oil to break it down? I use hulled sesame seeds after roasting it a bit
Hey Nina! I'm honestly not sure because I never add oil. I do use organic unhulled seeds. Don't know if the organic matters. I see you mentioned you used unhulled too. Possible ideas might be not enough seeds, or too many. Another possibility could be not allowing the Vitamix to go long enough. I see this when folks make nut and seed milks that some don't allow the machine to run long enough (though run too long and the Vitamix shuts herself down). I know that's not sesame seed butter though could possibly be not letting machine run long enough. Slow to high, with the tamper and that's how it works for me. I wish I could be of more help to you. PS: I used the blender E310 - so maybe the shape of the blender plays into it? Please let me know how you go with your next try. Cheers, Ivy.
Also, would it be OK to put onions in there as well? Like With the peppers? ~BTW, 1st time on your channel, and it's so adorable and very helpful! He's done is Goofy and I am LOL😉
I love doing onions though I've never done them at the same time. Here's a video where I did the onions in the air fryer. Hope that helps. Stop on back if I can be of any help. Thanks for the kind words. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--VRCvSfm55U.html
Hey Shandi! I'm sorry about the confusion. It's 30 minutes total that I do. Just made some more the other day and that day, I didn't even flip. I forgot and they still worked great!
I used unhulled organic seeds for my Tahini. I do an 8 hour soak and no toasting (bc i cba tbh) .. I have to add tons of olive oil to mine and never get it as smooth as yours even with all the extra oil!
Hey Nirvau! I use unhulled too. No soaking though. Have you tried lightly toasting them, allowing them to cool and then blending them in a Vitamix from low to high? I find it works great with no oil and no presoak. Hope that helps!
SO I moved into an apartment with a tub that has a slightly pebbled texture. I like a deep water bath and my overflow cover wouldn't suction on. So.. tomorrow I am going to try the Press and Seal. Clearly I'll have to put a new piece on every time, but if this works, I am eternally grateful to ya! So it WORKED!! Unlike other overflow seals with suction cups, the Press and Seal will not let any water escape, so make sure you DO NOT leave your bath while it is filling. You will need to apply while the tub is dry and yes, you will need to add a new piece every time. I'm so happy!!
Hey Leslie! I hope it works for you. That'd be great. It's interesting stuff. Took me a long time to finally finish the roll. Cheers, Ivy. PS: There's a RU-vidr that does a lot of very cool DIY stuff. In case the cling film doesn't work, here's her channel. She does all kinds of interesting thing. I just love her show. www.youtube.com/@seejanedrill/videos
Great video Ivy! Toys for your oven - love it. And yes, Home Goods is awesome!! I like your blue spring form... I struggle getting the bottom in on my pan too... And it does usually leak just a little.
Hey Jackie! Very cool. This works with the mini peppers too though for those I don't always remove the skins. Happy Air Frying! Happy 2023! Cheers, Ivy..
Hi Vicki! Yes for sure. And if you wanted, say that we always start with 4 tablespoons of cream of tartar, of the same brand. Easy enough then for that first batch to weigh that 4Tb and the rest as well and then next time when making a big batch, bam, whip out the scale and weigh those grams of goodness.
Interesting! The organic tahini butter I used to get at Home Goods only had sesame seeds. It was soooo good too. Same price as the seeds per pound, back then. I haven't seen it there in years and I can't recall the brand. Yum though!
@@Maplecook It's very, very good blended with raw apple cider vinegar and even some maple syrup too. And other times, I soak overnight red chili seeds/flakes. Then the next day add these soft jalapenos, some maple, more ACV if needed to taste and sometimes, I'll toss in a roasted red pepper and blend on high until consistency I like. Playing along the way. Very, very tasty. I don't add salt though surely that could work too. Happy Playing!
Thx we are going to try it now I usually do them on the barbe let them cool in the exact bowl that you have with the lid that is from the 70’s my mom gave me and then put them in a paper bag to peel or paper towel
Hi Cary! The bag trick is one I used to do then found with the glass, I just didn't need that method anymore. Really love doing these. Hope yours turned out great. Happy Air Frying!
I do confess that I read the entire booklet before playing. I found though, watching videos from actual people more helpful and then of course, just getting in there an playing! Happy Autumn!
HA! Just today I put up a few samples on the wall and picked white metal. We thought we were going to go with lunar surface Or possibly silver mine. White metal looked the best and that’s what we ordered just a couple hours ago!
That's very, very cool. I really love it. Then in the daylight, sometimes hints of purple come through. Very, very pretty. Cool name too, White Metal. What walls are you painting?
@@TheHappyWhisk We are doing our living room/dining room. we used to have gray wisp which came across as green! It was horrible. So happy to be redoing my walls.
@@TheHappyWhisk well I can’t wait to see the video of the end result! Maybe I’ll have to post a video myself because there’s not enough videos on this color. Thanks again! And you have a super interesting personality. You should do radio
Thank you for a very nice comment. I have an abandoned podcast to get back to. Just checked and I haven't dropped one since June. Whoosh went the summer. I didn't even know it was that long. For your video ... I would love to see that! I found White Metal from James at The Paint People. I was on the hunt for something to work with photography an so far, I love, love, love the White Metal in the back. Thank you again for the great comment.
Hi Tina! Soggy strawberries from the fridge - though a soggy berry does change the end result texture, depending on the sogginess. I never use frozen berries during the mix-in stage as they might break the blade. Hope that helps.
