I watched his death for the first time last year and I forced myself not to cry cause I watched it when I had down time at work. I was also trying hard to catch up so I didn't truly process everything. My sister just got to Law's backstory and I told her I wanted to watch it with her because of how much I loved Cora. I feel a little embarrased having emotions over fictional stories but I just couldn't help it. This second re-watch had me bawling my eyes out. Especially after watching the end of Law's fight with Big Mom about a week ago. That's how you know a story is good. Even if it's all made up, the emotions you feel are real.
3:09 this part becomes more perfect with that ending of the episode with the explosions... Toei knows how to make emotional moments EVEN MORE EMOTIONAL
in my opinion law has the saddest backstory. he literally lost everything he loved just because of peoples ignorance to the disease, and thr only person who was willing to help him out died alone in the cold snow
This song brings me to tears every time. The flute and the bells set up the strings for a complex transition into the most somber string melody. The trap-like drums give it some flavor then the finale is this big beautiful orchestral overture at the end. You almost feel like flying at the end. It’s sad and sweet all at the same time in equal parts. This song is of utmost importance to me not for my listening pleasure but for my soul
