Had to abandon site this morning due to flooding. Found new site 32 miles away. Bit hasilly but they did a great job. Check the weather forecast if you are coming here but the bad weather has been exceptional and it’s been all over the country, so not just here.
@@GrandadsOtherChannel Yes thanks for asking. Just started to rain now. On a new site 35 miles away in Cambridge, next to Addenbrooke’s Hospital. It’s annoying thinking you want to enjoy things but you’re looking at the forecast all the time. Yes the van is watertight. Got access to both gas/electric heating. Hot showers and toilet block so not so much hardship. 👍
@@raymondc5473 Thanks Raymond. Members are charged about £21 a night for this week. Bearing in mind the time of year it’s a good price. Not sure what extras might be added eg. Extra bodies and sometimes pets. Some sites consider 14 yr olds as adults. Non members will pay more as well. 👍 Kust wanted to add it’s best to put all your particulars in the search criteria to get the correct price. Adults, kids and pets.
@@jasonroberts8254 Yes it is Jason. I guess you may be able to do this by contacting them direct. There is a sign saying open to non members. Thanks for watching. Just want to add it’s best to tailor your searches by putting in your exact number of adults, children and pets to get the correct price.
Lovely video, thanks for sharing. Sunshine and rain who knows from one day to the next. Just be thankful you don't have a dog to bring in all the water and MUD! 😅
@@Roadshome yes it was hoyking it down last night. Same tonight. Got some proper walking boots but don’t want to get them muddy. All quiet here. They offer pitches at £1800 for 8 months fully serviced. Wouldn’t want to stay here that long but the price is very good. Genuinely free to travel further from the 4th August so we’ll make plans to meet 👍🌧️ G.
Yes very poor parking up here Mark and Sioux. Site not really that posh. Standard campsite, clean, well maintained. You can buy statics up here. Currently in a pub stopover with proper pitches and hookup not far from Amble and Warkworth. Unfortunately the prices of pitches are rediculous this time of year. As I'm finding out.
Milk bar for the kids?? Isn't that where you can get fresh milk? Also upu don't go in club house and tell us to Google it but you talk us for a walk around a Budgens 😅
@@susanhope3297 Didn’t want to go in because wasn’t spending any money. And you wouldn’t want a camera in your face while eating. Did spend money in budgens. The milk bar is separate from the milk machine. They do coffees etc. and probably milk. Helps there’s a cow outside 😀
