I've got the exact same setup (stage wise) and am picking my bike up from my mechanic this weekend. I'm beyond excited. I almost went with the 465 but heard the 475 in a 114 and fell in love.
Do you find it’s quite shaky going city speeds around 20-40 mph? I feel like I can’t keep a steady throttle around 1900-2200 rpms with the cam. What do you think?
Hi Tim, bikes looking good mate. Question - I'm thinking of installing the exact same bars. I'm 6'2 so assuming mine would be more upright but I'm concerned they might block my view of the flashing indicator lights in the fuel and voltage gauges. What do you think? Cheers, Glenn
Are you saying you like the 2013 more then the 2020 bike? with your accent we had a hard time telling if you said 2020 or not. The reason I like your comment is that I just bought a 2014 with only 5k miles, and of course I thought it would not be as good as the new ones.
I only have issues if I'm in a low gear like second gear and doing 25-35 mph. it just doesn't want to go that slow in a smooth manner. Gets a bit jerky using the S&S 475 cam. But I can live with that.
Looking good Tim. I wondered what affect the new bars would have so it was interesting that it would react not just with your posture but also the way you corner. Must be hard to keep the smile off your face these days. Hopefully the rain this week hasn't ruined your long week-end. Have a good one and a safe one.
I'm currently saving for a Harley, and have my xjr1300 for PT ex so hoping to have a Harley by this December, I'm swinging towards a street bob but also have in mind a fat bob (used to have a fatbob from new 14 plate sorry I got rid) so have plenty of time to make my mind up, I'll be looking at second hand as I learnt buying new I lost 2 to 3 grand soon as I left the shop.
@@timfinning That is an insane performance for a cruiser. To me, a cam upgrade is a must-do thing, but I'm a fan of low-rpm rumble sound, so I usually cruise around below 3000 rpm. According to others' feedback, ss475 lost some power at lower rpm like 2000-3000. That's my only concern. So I'm struggling between ss465 and ss475.
@@yaojiang I originally wanted the 465 but at the time none were available due to covid. The 475 still had heaps of bottom end grunt. From memory I had about 120 ft-lb straight off the bat
Your bike now sounds like mine but I have bassani sweepers, when I watched your earlier videos after your stage one and exhaust install the bike sounded amazing like way better then mine so I feel like we both did the same thing going to stage 2 and regretting it and now can’t seem to get it back to the good stage one feels weird if that makes sense
I have the same bike same color and i have a hard time explaining why i love it so much to people you can just throw it and it goes where you want it to
Did you install the cruise control yourself? If so, was it difficult? Local dealer wants nearly $300 USD to install it (which is more than the part costs locally).
Nice one. Great hearing the different sounds from the two bikes. Also nice to see you perpetuate the wave or the nod. Do you find other riders respond back more depending on what bike your riding?
When are people going to actually grow a pair and protest the rip off system?time no one paid registration but i know i would keep the triump over any harley over-rated as f
