I'm blown away by Pentti's work. A stunning masterpiece. Quite possibly one of the most beautiful photography monographs ever produced. Get it while you still can.😊😊😊
An excellent book by one of the greats! Not surprising, in light of the well-known B&W work. I can't say that he "saw" differently in color, but in the selection he makes the color work. As he said, he took photographs to see what things would look like photographed. (To Beyond Words: thank you so much for the video, but you flip a bit too fast!)
Is there an error in the book? Page 9 has one image titled as 'Kits Beach, 1957' but then the same image appears at the end of the book however it is instead titled 'Toronto Centre Island, 1952'.

I'm not sure why they posted this. The book is not centered under the camera, resulting in cropped, partial views of Johansson's fine photographs. A sloppy, frustrating and disappointing video. Even at 34 seconds, it's hardly worth viewing.
