Not quite new wave or industrial but along the lines of a folky English mix of those genres with some English rock .. can hear some Bowie and The Cure in there .. .. can't wait to hear the albums after this debut !! wild stuff !!! in a way they have the attitude of a mid to early 90's American industrial band 10/10 !!
Count me hypnotized, brilliant, and mercilessly short. Homicide, and Write It Out do contain some fundamentally well concealed electric guitar. I could have listened to 3x as much as this already anorexic plastic could be squeezed for, albeit, it's like 100proof molasses I'm downright intoxicrated.

I'm not saying it is them, but if you're not aware of the Canadian New Wave band Rational Youth as a possible lead...well, try them I guess. To me the vocals sound pretty like Tracy Howe when he was doing his 'monotone' style. See their song 'Coboloid Race' for example.
@@sussyhamburger7 I know right? Caveat would be that there were a heck of a lot of New Wave singers doing the same 'deadening' thing with their voices around the turn of the 80s. It's probably not him, but it just about could be.
@@someguyiguess. It was posted to our Discord FMM page today. I heard it and recognised it as 1000 Mexicans. It's on the b-side of their Diving For Pearls 12", called The Diplomat.
