All you really need to do is get a power inverter and a battery charger.. hook the inverter to the battery, plug the battery charger to the inverter, hook the charger back to the battery.. Don't get some BIG ol charger !! somethin like a "Deltran" battery maintainer is all you need, mine is a Deltran 800mA.. Don't buy a cheap Amazon special !!!!
I measured from center to center of tire tread, so that would make it 7 ft x 12 ft, approx 5.5 ft high 84 square ft with a 6Ft box on front for storage. glad u liked it, thanks
When I planned out "box", I measured center of tire tread to center of tire tread, that makes this trailer 7ft x 12 ft long with 6 ft box on front. it would depend on what width axels you start with, good luck with your build!
Thank you very much for your post, Subscribe if you haven't, thanks if you did! check out our future camper builds, buildmorewithless , we can build to suit! thanks again, Dave
I’d call on rf fagers or Schaedler Yesco for a pump bud not Lowe’s or hd Too many companies around here looking to go home with fat pockets instead of a fair take. Nice to see a good option can be found. Is your trailer parked on Allentown/jonestown on purpose or did you have some troubles?
I'm trying to figure out exact proper locations for all those timing cover bolts....wish I'd have made a pattern board to store them as I took it apart.....LOL
I had a similar problem where I lost a bolt for the timing cover, after measuring the casing the bolts went into, I purchased a bolt from tractor supply and Home Depot that were the same thread size and even put washers on. it's better to have a slightly shorter bolt than to max out the casing. Hey! always mark your bolts! Something I've forgot a time or two! Good luck! Check out our community page I'll throw up a pick.
Last couple of years, I have received some ridiculous quotes from plumbers. You need to shop around. Ten years ago the plumbing outfit replaced my pump. 150 foot well, 1/2 hp Myers pump, 12 gauge pump wire, etc. for $1175. So, $2500 today is in the ballpark. Two years ago, I bought a water heater and had a plumber install it. Two hours and done. He charged $600 and one wanted $1200 and another wanted $1500. I have installed several myself in the past but have since lost most of my sight and turned 80. Lots of dishonest people who think stealing is okay.
I hear you, I've always said 3 quotes should be the min. the guy who ended up putting pump in was at his estimate of $2500. which I thought was fair for todays prices. part 2 install will drop thursday, thanks for subscribing if you have or do if you haven't. hopefully we help people save money here @buildmorewithless
Thanks for subscribing, I hope you enjoy! yes, it will take a min, we realize, we are winging as we go! will revisit the giveaway thing in future, thanks again. Dave
Hey Steve, if you check out off road pt uno, on this channel you'll see I just took a camper frame and cut it down behind back tires! I purchased two campers approx. 30footers, I got two on CL under free, and gave the guy $200 bucks to hold them for me!, parted inside appliances out and used the frames! thanks for subscribing if you did! if not subscribe and check out other builds in the future! go build something, and share it! Thanks Dave
Please, I live in Harrisburg. If you ever have a snake problem again, notify me and I will come remove it for free and let it go where it wont be a bother to anyone.@@BuildMoreWithLess
hey there, the 207d and 188 engines could attach to different trans configurations, my 580c 207d has a power shuttle transmission, this means there is no gasket between motor block and trans. there is a semi-circle gasket for the cover that goes over flywheel plate located at bottom of motor. this gasket I don't have a part number for. my suggestion would be to make a cork gasket for cover because it does not need to keep fluid in, it's meant to keep dust/dirt out. hope this helps you.
This is great info. Can save people hundreds/thousands in pest control costs and big $ on repair costs. Thank you. This got a sub out of me. Takes a lot to impress a guy that grew up watching MacGyver and Mr. Wizard. Top notch life hack my man. Keep it up!
Two things. First, I had an electrician say to me ‘if you’re black, you’re golden’. It might not pass DEI, but it is an easy way to remember that your hot wire generally goes to the gold colored screw. Second, when do you show how to wire a 4 way switch?
Yes Rick, that's generally correct, black on brass is the same term. for the most part black is the power. red can also be power. btw Thanks if your subscribed, and if not please do! next week I can put up 4-way switch! no problem! thanks #buildmorewithless
