a sound won't save your life, action and mental state may. I object to some of this content. I wish you were right, but reason with someone that is under the influence or in a mental state that can't process what that sound means. you may not get their attention until they cant fight back. if we can make someone leave with a scary sound guns are not needed. respect, I am not trying to crap on your parade.

When a guy tells me to carry a folder, I wonder if he knows what he's talking about. A folder rehires fine motor skill at a time when fine motor skill is degraded by stress. The fastest knife to bring into action is a fixed blade of reasonably small size. That brings to the Colonel Blades Lo Viz ( see their site to order and RU-vid videos ). If you must carry a folder, find a sheath that will hold it in the opened mode. 😎
I’ve done this one time. I’m very new to shooting and still don’t own a 9mm. I borrowed one which was a compact. I came in 12th out of 48 shooters, I was pretty proud. I’m going to custom order a shadow 2 for a lefty.
A few states including Commiefornia have a process of adding a serial number that's issued from the DOJ, BEFORE milling the lower. The serial number has to be applied as specified by the DOJ. They have a specific steel type, size and weight, along with the numbers being etched a specific size and depth, and attached to the lower. It's crazy.

You made the assumption that the attacker would lead with the knife hand. You even had your oponent fully extend their knife hand. But the attacker knows you have a stick. They are going to attack your weapon with their free hand, and keep their knife hand close to their body.
