I use an adapter called the Roll Limitless, created by bookreader52. It has 3 ports: 1) MIDI port to connect to the Midi OUT port on the ekit. My understanding is your ekit needs either a MIDI OUT or a MIDI USB port for this to work. 2) USB port to connect to a controller for game menu navigation. 3) Mini-USB port to connect to the USB port on the console. Bookreader sells the adapter for $100 on rolllimitless . com (feel free to google it first for due diligence), with some other alternatives that are cheaper, but more complex to set up.
@@anf9311 ah i see. I couldnt help but notice that the spelling of the lyrics was all over the place. Half of the lyrics are spelled correct While the other half isnt. Anyway thanks for your response!
No worries! The background is basically an MP4 recording of the song in Performance Mode on RB3 Deluxe - a modded version of RB3. A guy named Jloe01 shared this and a bunch of other recordings of songs from both GH and RB on a Google Spreadsheet. I'll put the link in the description. To use the video as a background, you have to put the video file (MP4 works, not sure about others) into the song's folder. You'll also have to name the file "video"
@@anf9311 thanks for the response, is there a video tutorial or anything to guide this or if possible even link the release page to download? Thanks :)
@@Joker36094 I haven't seen one specifically for this, but there very well could be. I would search for something like "Clone Hero add background video" on YT and also if you use Reddit, join the CloneHero subreddit - very helpful and friendly community!
In this instance: Clone Hero, a cloned version of guitar hero on PC. The 4th main guitar hero game (Guitar Hero World Tour) and all the GH games that followed included drum gameplay 🥁 allowing Clone Hero to also include drums
that's awesome, great job. I just finished practicing this on hard for the night. I am no where near ready for expert, nice to see what i get to look forward to!
Sure! There's a device called the Roll Limitless adapter, created by an RB fan by the name of bookreader52. The adapter has a MIDI port to connect to the MIDI out port on the alesis module and a USB port to connect to the console He sells the adapter for $100, as well as a few cheaper alternatives that are a bit more technical.
@anf9311 holy moly, didn't actually think it was that easy!! ty for being so informative. Looks fun as heck, growing up never had a chance to play RB or GH and now that I'm learning drums this would be a great tool. THANK YOU!!
Alesis Nitro Mesh Kit. It appears to have been discontinued in place of its successor: the Alesis Nitro Max, which has a different module and slightly bigger snare. You can still find the Mesh on sale used most likely
There's a guy that creates an adapter called the Roll Limitless. The drums connect to the adapter via a MIDI cable, then the adapter connects to the console via USB. Only catch is the drum module has to have a MIDI OUT port
