Seems like Life of many from living (birth), beginning, to teening, to demanding, to maturing, to understanding, to standing, to confirming, to growing, to now and to what may maybe becoming....in the awakening ✍🏽 😮
Wow! The staging and lighting are so simple yet spectacular! I have never seen such phenomenal use of a single Spotlight! It was almost like looking at something in a jar or in a window, and I loved the way that the light played on dancers coming in and out of it. Absolutely amazing wonderful job!!!
I understood this as if the blacks represent society, expectations, and norms dictating what to do, who to do it with, and when to do it, as well as how to pose and talk, and when to remain silent. However, the white figure in the center of the light represents the freedom of a soul pursuing its own desires. She attempts to persuade the blacks to join her in embracing freedom and breaking free. You can observe them entering the light with fabulous moves, like sports dances, but societal norms pull them back into the normal, dark, big circle. Despite this, the white figure continues to perceive her own version of freedom.
