The standard rule of thumb is substantial support 1 1/2 times the size of the crane floats. (Under the outrigger jacks). I've seen ground like this giveway to tipping over. Read the Crane fail reports. Most are operator error due to incorrect/inadequate setup. ("Is your jib stowed or stored?)
I wish you’d include the cold start with your trucks at auction. Would be so cool to watch them get started up. Especially if we could see the full procedure.
