I was looking at the X1 on your website and it has a $2500 Truma option. Does that get integrated into the camper or do I have to integrated into my truck like you do this video?
Mosquitos in the south would swarm up through those modular molle panels. Other than Amazon car window "sock", you guys have a simple, cheap attachment to keep skeeters out?

I park my vehicle level at home verifying with a standard 4ft spirit level registered to the tent/topper. I then install the small adhesive spirit levels inside my vehicle above the rearview mirror and passenger seatbelt. Then, when I'm camping I can level the vehicle dynamically by myself as I park.
I’ll be in the market for wedge later this year, unfortunately $14k is about double what I can justify, especially without financing. Please come up with a more economical model. I’ll most likely be going with harkers despite the fact that I like the gfc/sp design much more.
Great video. Nice walk-through for one take. :) Hey, Oregon boy here, living in Phoenix. I'm considering a solution like this for myself. I want to explore Sedona and the surrounding area over the next year or so. Your build seems very well thought out and I love that you've considered the Oregon rain in your craftsmanship. I'll see you in Loveland, CO this year (2024) to take a look. There are a few questions I have, but can't seem to locate the answers on your website or in the videos I've seen. I'll list them below, maybe you can direct me to a resource to help. Here you go: I have a Ram 2021 1500 Limited, quad cab, Eco diesel. I'm 6'2" and 250lb. - How long is the bed (sleeping)? - How much height is there at the end of the tent for feet (size 12.5 US or roughly 11.5 in)? - How far over the cab does the X1 extend (my truck has a huge moonroof)? - My truck has a split tailgate, I noticed in your videos that the X1 seems shorter than the truck bed. Can I have you build a unit that is longer or am I good with the standard length? My concern is, if thieves can wiggle something down into the split gate, they will be able to pop it open and gain access. Just an idea, but when you update your website consider adding dimensions. May help someone like me figure these things out. Thanks again for the great content and I look forward to your reply.
In many of these campers, it is infuriating that the manufacturer was trapped to make an overlay that repeats the angle of inclination of the rear cabin racks. And as a result, such a cool overall product in the back looks like it was just shat there....
Hey! can this be installed in a mass-produced Class B like the Revel? can the existing fan opening be used and the existing solar panels be mounted on top of the CloudCap?
The AC unit would be an issue. Solar panels could be mounted on top of the Cloud Cap. There is an AC delete plate out there so it could be done but your roof and ceiling panels would have to be reworked to accommodate
@superpacific_usa I really like how you use local vendors for your materials and parts. Your business model mimics Crescent Kayaks. Would you ever consider adding a second cross brace under the roof panel splitting the panel into thirds (basically giving the owner another latch point closer to the tailgate)? I’m probably overthinking this and worried about the length without a underside cross brace (especially if I added adhesive solar panels).
Could you clarify how you grabbed power from the 12V in the console to hardwire? Did you use Positaps, solder, etc? The specific connection type/part would be great!
