The MLOPT Idea Seminar is a student-led forum where junior researchers from all around the world are invited to present their recent ideas and findings. The seminar aims to provide an open and supportive platform for researchers to share their published or in-progress papers with the opportunity to receive feedback from their peers. Speakers are also encouraged to bring up open problems or recent research which caught their attention so that it may spark interesting discussions and potentially future collaboration. The series covers a range of topics, typically but not limited to the intersection of machine learning and optimization. We meet on Fridays from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm CT.
