better with a hole cutter, i bought a cracked Paiste 2002 20 inch ride and used a hole cutter, turned out brilliant, sold it on for a good profit. Also did i spot a crack on the bell running off the hole?
Nice vid man! Unfortunately that will continue to crack :( it needs to be more of a rounded cut. Kinda like a wave so the cymbal can disperse its energy evenly when hit.
@@chet3482 You are probably right. It was my first time doing this so it's better than nothing. I have a few more cracked cymbals than i need to work on so i'll do what u suggested on trying to get a rounder cut overall. Thanks

Over 10 different vehicles i have owned and driven since 1994 when i got my first driving license. Matte or dull black spray on a steel rims are always the best. They are universal match with whatever car colour. My previous and currently owned cars are usually metallic silver, gunmetall grey, metallic black or white. Only one time i purchased a titanium bronze coloured car from hyundai. 👍👍👍👍👍

Zildjian A 6”or 8”. I’ve K dark 10” splash that has to be heard to be believed. It is a Gong. Can’t believe the sound it makes. Completely useless as a splash. Bought without trying it first. Great vid thank you.
I have a hydraulic on my jazz snare and it sounds amazing. I’ve been looking forever for a video of someone comparing the hydraulics to the coated heads though. If anyone has seen one of those videos, please link me. That chrome bass drum head is dope though! I just joined a new band and I needed to get a new from head. I think I’m gonna snag one!
I’m surprised by that ZHT. Sounds pretty good for entry level. A Custom 6” and 8” are still the best sounding splashes of all time. Loved them so much I’m on my second set.
Entry-level gear is generally much better now than it was before about 20 years ago. And thank God, lol. If you stepped into an average music store during the mid 70s, you'd be disgusted, lol. Cheers
